Women who cannot produce there own eggs may opt for this option of using a donors eggs, this is done when both parties have had sufficient counselling. The women who donate are generally under 35 and have had families of there own.
Women who need IVF but do not have the funding can also be a donor, this is where the latter donates half of her eggs to a recipient in order for her treatment to cost considerably less, counselling should also be taken for both parties who are willing to undertake in Egg sharing
