Isabella rose's husband on 07/07/2007 "This is rather a strange letter as it is written by a man so i will just explain a few things. My wife has used this site for a number of years now but had never registered.
We had had a number of IVF failures ad I am sure that once my wife feels up to writing she will tell you our full history. However, we persevered and decided on one final go. Our beautiful baby was born on Jun 10. She will always be our precious little miracle.
The reason I am writing this email is to thank all the women who had babies thorugh this website and were pregnant between Oct 06 and Jun 07. Although my wife had never registered, she followed the that group of women who had the bravery to detail their experiences on this website. I am glad that so many of you were able to share in the wonderful times that we have had since the birth of our baby Isabella. To those of you that were unsuccessful, think we both know exactly what it is you are thinking at the moment but can only insist that you give it another go -you just never know. I am sure that once my wife reads this email, she may well return and fill you in on a great deal more about our history as she still returns to this site, possibly for further inspiration, but moreover to hopefully share in those magical moments that we have shared.
Thanks to all of you"
Ermey on 25/07/2007 "Thank you Ferilty Friends, for this place, where I come when the rest of the world does not understand.
Most of the time right now, I am trying very hard to live a normal life, not dwell on the past, not obsess about the future, but pretend to myself I am like the rest of the world. This takes all my energy, and often needs me to not visit FF or post here, so that I can truly concentrate on living in the 'now'.
Sometimes, despite my best efforts, 'now' is a lonely, lonely place. I am confronted with this, like we all are, on a frequent basis, when others crash uninvited through my protective shell, and thrust reminders and hurts in my face, and in my heart. Sometimes, I just wake up feeling tired out with trying to be positive and optimistic, of trying to put my hurts behind me, of feeling alone among so many fertile friends and family.
When these things happen i turn to this board. Where no matter how irrational or oversensitive I am feeling, no matter how often I feel I ought to truly 'move on' from this board, there is always someone here who understands, who makes me feel less alone, who allows me to get things off my chest. I can say things here that I say nowhere else.
Thank you FF, and thank you to all on this board." Sarah on 01/08/2007 "Welcome Adrian and Joy
You have found the most wonderful website in the world. My hubby and I are currently going through our first ICSI and the support I have received from this wonderful site has been invaluable. I wsa lucky enough to find it a few years ago when we were struggling to conceive. I have asked the most stupidiest of questions on here but got the answers. I have made some fantastic friends who are always there for me. so don't be afraid to ask anything there will always be someone to answer your questions

"In the short time I've been on this site, have had so many laughs and lots of kindness from the lovely ladies that I'm already feeling quite positive and dare I say it, even a bit excited (Idiot Grin) about my imminent IVF!! Its really hard not to to feel positive here, especially when you hear all the stories and see how everyone can somehow keep smiling despite all they've been through. A real inspiration. Sending you lots of Positive Energy and good luck with your TX.

Roll Eyes It's inspiring how you support each other so much and to finally find a group of women that can understand completely what you are going through is fantastic."

"I have had a look at the moving on board and all I can say is that moderator is a lovely person who is exceptionally caring and understanding - sometimes this can come across as patronising but not with this person AMCEE I think? I dont need to post on there at present but I am happy in the knowledge that thos FF are there if I need them - those pages have had me in floods of tears."

You can get so bogged down by all the different advice from well meaning people who don't really have the first idea what you are going through, but everbody at FF DOES know what you are going through!!!
Thank you everyone!! And good luck Lou xx"
