Hello Sussex ladies... :)

Can i join you... not sure when i am going to start next tx but i am now on icsi no 3...
My first was successful but i lost the baby at 23 weeks due to IC or infection very very sad :'(
the 2nd was in July and i had 16 eggs but 15 were lost due to a possible lab error ( i wasn't the only one, and we have been offered a reduction on next tx) not really compensation for such a disaster but what can you do ^bigbad^
This is our last chance as they will only let you do 3 even though they messed up last time.
Anyway i feel quite optimistic for the next cycle so everything crossed for a happy ending :) ^pray^ please!!!

looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi ladies
I went to lewes for the weekend to stay with a friend and we motored down the coast to Seaford and a bit of Eastbourne to let me have a nose round.  Not sure I'm going to find what I'm looking for - a village or villagey feel within a town, at least a few shops etc, Post Office, park that I can walk to, but on/near coast.

Coming down early Sept to have a look at Lancing, Hove and Worthing.  The nicest houses I've seen on the interweb are Bexhill but i think that's just a little bit too far for me if I end up having to do three days in London a week in the future.

Ho hum!

Anyway - South Coast is seeming best bet for me at the moment!

Hello people,

Sorry I've been away for a while visiting relatives so have neglected to post.  Thank you to all of you who've included me in your posts.

Nikki, how are you sweetie?  Hope you're looking after those babies.  I'm really glad that the bleeding has stopped, that must have been awful.
Am hoping to meet up with Jenny soon, would you like to come too? Not sure on details yet but will let you know.

Lesley, you're sounding much more positive too! Sorry to hear you're feeling ill but they do say it's a good sign! Thank you for replying about the symptoms, it's so difficult isn't it? It's great to have other people to come to with worries though.  Hope your little ones are still doing well.

Amy, thinking of you and your growing bump. Sorry you're feeling tired, hope it passes soon.

Shemonkey, fingers crossed! ^reiki^ ^pray^

Cazzyann, your app with Mr Chui sounds as though it was great.  The 'flare' technique sounds great too, anything to cut down on the time it takes! Good luck, it's your turn now.  ^pray^ ^reiki^

Claire, I doubt you're reading this at the mo but wishing you lots of luck, your baby boy will be here soon! ^reiki^  :)

Welcome to Richmondlass and Pixie B.  Pixie, you really have been through the mill! I hope that this tx goes smoothly for you.

Well, I am officially 6 weeks and 5 days, I'm still not feeling ill but am feeling very fat and have ENORMOUS (.)(.) 34E! Have had to buy a new bra :) It does makes me feel a bit more pregnant though.
I have my first midwife app on Thursday and then my scan in a week and a bit; I think i'll  feel much better once I get to the scan.

Love to all those I've missed x x x

Hi RL,

I live in St Leonards on Sea (nearest station St Leonards Warrior Square).

There is another train line (ie not via Eastbourne & Lewes) that travels from St LWS to the City - its about 1.5 hours to London Bridge.  I regularly travelled 3x per week to London Bridge from here last year.

I don't know the timings, but you could travel Bexhill - St LWS, then take the City line.

Just in case you didn't realise (tbh - most people who live the other side of Eastbourne don't know about the line from Hastings to London).

Hi Ange - thaks for that - St Leonard's looks lovely.  I've been using trainline to work out train times to London.  I'm afraid an hour and half each way is a little too much for me!  I couldn't bear to have that length of commute each day.  It's an hour max because of course it's going to be half an hour on top of that once you get to town depending on where you're headed.

Of course, I'm banking on not having to travel regularly to London but can't take the risk.

I'm headed down again in a couple of weeks for a look around again.  Any suggestions welcome!

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well.

Lioness - Its a great sign to have big boobs - I had to buy a new bra around week 9 with my ds because they were so big - this time nothing - really strange!  Less than a week to go until yours scan.  I wonder if there will be one or 2  :)  How did your mw appointment go?

Pixie - Welcome - gosh you have been through the mills.  Good luck with your next cycle.

Nicky - Your 2 sound like whoppers - must be all the pasties you are eating  ;D

I have been feeling particularly low the past few days I had more red bleeding yesterday so have been up the the EPAC this morning and both babies are growing but unfortunately the area where I am bleeding from is too  :'(  I have been told to stop the clexane and aspirin now so am  ^pray^ that it just gets reabsorbed and doesn't cause me any more problems.  They want to keep a close eye on things so our next scan is in a week when I'll be 9 + 1 all being well.  Sorry to be on such a downer but I just feel so helpless and scared that It's all going to end in m/c.

Love to all

Oh Lesley, you're not having an easy time of it are you. Is there anything they can do to stop the bleeding?
I've heard of so many women who've had bleeding in early pregnancy, particularly with twins, and have gone on to have happy healthy babies.  I'm thinking of you and really  ^pray^ ^pray^ that you are one of those women.

On a happy note, I bumped into Cathogan yesterday when I went for my midwife app.  I'm not going to reveal her news, as I'm sure she will soon, but she was looking very happy and had someone else with her!!!  :)

The wait for the scan seems like it's going on FOREVER! Only seven days to go now.

Beza girl - I know it is common for ongoing bleeding but it's no less worrying and very stressful.  I've had two minor episodes of spotting and that freaked me out.

I hope it clears up soon for you - hopefully stopping the aspirin will help.

Rest up!

Hi All,
I am new to this thread.
I recently moved to St Leonard's - I really love it but there is one thing still missing to make life feel complete - a baby.

Lesley - I hope that everything works out ok for you - I cannot imagine how you must be feeling.

I am on a complete downer - my husbands brother's fiance had her baby last weekend.

We had IVF late last year so our 2 that we lost would have been born a few weeks ago and I am really struggling to cope.  My husband's family (mainly his mum and brother) do not seem to care - they have got what they want.

We have been TTC for nearly 5 years now and since the day we married we have been getting it in the neck as his parents so want to be grandparents.  It got to the stage last year that we had to tell them we had been having problems getting pregnant.  I would rather they do not know.  I just find it very hard.

Sorry to rant on - just feel I need some support from people who understand - unless you are going through a similar thing I don't think you can realise how hard it is.

Lots of love and hugs  ^hugme^ to everyone.

xxxx

Hi Ladies,

I havent posted for a while on this thread as been patiently waiting for our appointment date with Dr Chui to get nearer! We go on holiday 2 weeks today and when we get back only 3 days until our appointment.. im counting down the days!!

Does anyone know what my initial consultation will be like? We're hoping to do IUI and im 100% we want medicated so im really gonna push for that rather than natural but does anyone know how long it may be before we can do our first cycle (we're private if that makes any difference?)
