Hi everyone!
I wonder if you'd mind if I joined you all. I'm a little late in the day but would like the chat and support you provide each other.
I am now 33+6 weeks pregnant with boy girl twins :)
I have had a quick read through the chat but please forgive me for no personals until I get a bit more familiar and involved.

Bamibi - I felt exactly the same..I was fine still at 38 weeks..and would have gone on for another couple of weeks fairly happily..my consultant scared me into thinking I needed to be induced. I pushed him to 38 weeks and then they were dragged out after 3 days induction. They weren't ready and I wasn't either. It was only because it was my first pregnancy that I just went along with what they said. If I had my time againe, I'd definitely leave it until 40 weeks if everything was OK. My friend with ID's was begging to be induced and her consultant wouldn't do it because there was no medical need..she had them at 40+3 perfectly healthy baby girls. I just wanted to say, I think you're doing the right theing..as long as you're feeling OK and the girls are OK then let nature take its course. Good luck! ;)

You are spot on but they have said they will induce at 38 weeks if I go that far so I guess 6th March (ish)!

Bambi-i was the same as rach-i had mine at 38 + 2 by c section after a 2day long failed induction. I was happy to keep going and not be induced but as was first pregnancy i went along with what was said. I def wouldn't if i had my time again. Anyway good luck!! xx

afternoon ladies, just a quickie. Been to see my Doctor this afternoon (1st time I've seen own doc since being pregnant as hard to get an app with him!) it was really just a routine check as ive been anaemic.

Anyway for re-assurance he tried to find heartbeats for me and couldnt  :( he didnt seem concerned and did say it was early but i came home and phoned hubby in tears! He got on the internet at work and established that it probably is too early but the other doc I saw a couple of weeks back did find one at least(although that worried me to)

I'm 15 1/2 weeks.

Is it ok if I join you? I am 21 weeks pregnant with twins. Have been resting at home all day due to have lots of braxton hicks contractions for the last few days. Midwife suggested that I take it easy for a while but said it was probably just because I am doing too much. Have any of you experienced this?
Heavaar - The midwifes at our hospital aren't allowed to check heartbeats now at appointments before 20 weeks because its so common not to be able to find one.  I am sure its nothing to worry about but you could always phone your local hospital for advice if you are worried.

Heavaar - just wanted to pop on and say try not to worry about the heartbeats - my midwives and GP often couldn't find them - especially when they were just using the doppler rather than a scanner too. I actually got better at it than them, as I bought my own doppler. I remember having moments of panic at the time and booking private scans.

Congrats to all you lovely double bump ladies - it is super being a twin Mummy!!
