Twinx  my family live in Portugal and we have travelled there a lot with ds. When he was small we took his maxi cosi cabriofix on his pushchair. the airline took it at the gate of the plane and gave it back to us at the other end. Its no problem using the car seat in hire cars or your families car out there as they meet eu standards. once ds outgrow his cabriofix we bought a maxi cosi tobi seat from amazon and had it sent straight out there so it lives at my mums all the time. we are taking the twins and ds out to Portugal for a month in september  so again will be using their car seats on their bjcs. easyjet, ba and monarch have always been really helpful never used Ryan air x

Fly into Porto. So we will take what we need and I'll try
Check with airline first! gonna get mum to but travel cot etc over there

Hi Cheekycat, it's wierd, up until yesterday I have felt nothing at all but now I can def feel it, in fact I just felt it now for the first time today  May try having a large bag of sugary sweets to see if it makes it move more

Hi Twinx, somehow it makes it more real    I've noticed these new maternity jeans pull quite tight under my bump, so maybe that makes it easier. I think before now any wriggles have been cushioned by my ample padding    Apparently, the more wriggly in the tummy, the more quieter after birth, so here's hoping

B very quiet then!! Wriggling now too I don't care
Really bean can b as noisy as likes!! Lol

I don't feel when busy as much yet but nice and still and quiet

Hi Mrs Strongman - I had a really sore throat on Wed & it's now a full blown cold & nightmare cough    Think we caught it from here    Maybe that's why jellybean is so active - I keep waking it up with my coughing

Twinx - I fly into Faro. Definitely worth getting your Mum to get the travel cot etc, I'll warn you some of the baby equipment out there is so expensive compared to here, we ended up getting it from amazon and as they deliver ir either free or for a minimum charge, it takes a week or more to get there but if you are in no rush it's well worth it. Also Tesco deliver to my Mum's (Vilamoura) so we ordered formula from there when my DS was a baby to be sent to Mum's as we couldn't get the formula we used over there, it's great as he is older too for favourite snacks, nappies etc, saves you messing about looking for it all over there. xx
