Hi all,

Beta HCG went to 645 IU/L from 195 IU/L in 72 hrs.  Our GP is quit positive about it.
Progesterone is on the low side. dropped to 28nmol/L; GP wanted to see it above 40, so more pessaries...
We will see our local specialist on 17 Apr, we are keeping him informed anyway.

Few observations:

 1) Depot shot and AF: Shot on day 25  did not work for us, delayed AF last time. So, DW had the shot on day 16 and continued with the pill until day 23.  This time, AF was on the dot on day 28.

2) 2WW - Niggling feeling:  DW had some of those , and some cramping when it is is time for progesterone pessaries.  If you get cramping, then you may want to talk to your doctor and consider checking / increasing progesterone pessaries.  Our Dr was quite straight forward toady and asked us to increase it - and maintain progesterone levels above 40 nmol/L.

Good luck for HRM and others in their 2ww and others on their way.

Kind regards,
George V

Mandy - brilliant news  ^hugme^

George v - you could ask your doctor for progesterone in oil injections as they are better absorbed than than the pessaries.  Great HCG numbers tho  ^hugme^

Foxy I keep dropping hints about an eternity ring but Dh just get it  ;)

Pea pea - good luck for you daughter meeting her older sister, hope the flight isn't too horrific for you.

Moo moo - I have had 'there are other ways to have a child' line from my FIL....I know he means well but adoption isn't an option for us  :(

Think so, its a bit blurry to be honest. Never got around to doing my roast yesterday and my head still pounding, should have said no to the shots I think. x

Flights and all booked now.  They have fair shot up.  When I looked at these back in March they were only costing us 400 and that was including flights back to Ireland and today they cost 655 >:( :( I guess thats the limo and cigars out the window now Siob ;D ;D

Peapea good luck for tomorrow.

George good news on the number, hope the prog increases   ^goodluck^

Foxy, hope your OH comes around on the eternity ring front, defo cheaper to buy diamonds abroad good luck hope you manage to convince him  :)

Blonde, did you get any news today? Hope it's a good outcome for you  ^pray^

Afm story about MIL , 4 wks after Freddie's cremation my SIL was taken into hospital with pre-eclampsia at 32 wks preg, she was told she had to be induced as it was getting dangerious . By the time they induced her my DD was going to visit MIL for 2 days, she called me ( I was still very raw from loosing Freddie and DH and I were seeing a counsellor together ) the exact conv went ' you need to speak to Molly about her coming up as Kelly is in hospital having the baby, you need to tell Molly that it's not the same as you' I said what do you mean and she said ' you need to tell Molly that Martha  is going to be born and it's not like Freddie she isn't going to be born dead make sure you tell her i dont want her over reacting when she is here ' well I was so upset I couldn't speak, I handed the phone it DH and he had to speak to her, she likes her wine so she was very p*$^d . My councillor couldn't believe someone could be so insensitive, but that's my MIL. Also she has to understand Molly had just found out she had lost a little brother the day after her 8th birthday so she was going to still be a little upset now and again.  I really do just tolerate her and I am not looking forward to the arrival on weds.
Btw we live in Hampshire and MIL lives in Telford hence why we have to have the visits.  Since the insensitivity last year I have refused to go and stay at her house, we now do the 6 hr round trip in a day leaving home at 6 am and coming back after tea time as I can't put myself through the stress with her, it's bad enough I have to put up with her when she insists on coming to us.

Miserable weather her today, we went to garden centre at 9 as they had a 10% off day, got some nice veg to grow and some lovely patio plants, going to visit one of my BF's today it's her 40th today, then meeting another friend for dinner tonight as its her birthday today too, expensive weekend  ;D have to start the  ^scales^. Tomorrow today it's all about the birthday cake  ;D

Hi all

Sorry for no personals, am feeling very confused right now.  Sorry if TMI but need some advice!! Went to loo this morning and there was brown blood on wiping.  Felt gutted, as had the usual af pains too, DP and I really sad.  TO be 100% sure, he got a clearblue digital and, after drinking about 3 cups of tea, I did a test (so not using first morning urine, as advised).  Within 20 seconds, it came up positive, then 2 - 3 weeks.  I am so confused now.  Can anyone help me with some questions?

Is it a false positive??  I had the trigger shot on Tuesday 27th March, in the morning - so am I right in saying that it would be out of my system now?

I had et on Sat 31st March - it was a 3day and a 5 day transfer.  So, testing today makes it 10 days post transfer.  I havent' done any other pg tests, so not got a negative or a positive apart from today.

I don't know what to think!  Almost wish I hadn't tested, as I am now so worried that I was pg but am now losing it  :'(.... any advice gratefully received....thank you, and so sorry for the 'me' post, just can't concentrate.... :(

Hi caledon, old blood is good hunny, it can be blood that was hanging around since implantation.  Try not to worry , 2-3 wks on the clear blue is a really good sign. Not sure if you can get a scan yet, I think earliest they do is 6 wks but it might be worth you ringing your local hospital EPAU for advice although sometimes they are not very helpful.  Can you get your bloods done tomorrow and Thursday maybe to check if you are doubling.  To get a 2-3 wk on digi sounds good thou keep  ^pray^
