Hi Ladies,

Glad to hear some positive action going on on here. Well done on the gym joining Henlie and Gem. I did another Zumba class this week - that is knackering! My sister told me that you burn 1000 calories an hour doing it and it makes you smile. All i know is I am starving since doing it and aching all over. I would really struggle to keep going on my own so really helps going to a class ; )

Age - wowzas twins!! How exciting! I am supposed to be in for a baseline scan but AF not due till Sunday. We'll see. Is that when you have your SEFC scan?

Cherry - congrats on those follicles behaving in the end. Good luck for Monday!!!  ^goodluck^

AFM - party tonight SIL's 40th, I know I am a saddo but I hate parties sober - especially seeing people I haven't seen for a year or more who know about us losing our baby earlier this year and act odd or say insensitive things (particularly when drunk). Cringe. I would love to stay at home and crochet my granny squares for my blanket.

Hope everyone else has a more fun weekend!

Hi Sharpey - I know what you mean about going to parties sober....there's nothing worse than watching people get drunk, when you're not drinking! :(. I hope you manage to get through it all ok tonight...without having to have too many awkward conversations. ^hugme^. Maybe you could feign illness halfway through?! Are you the designated driver tonight?!

Both DH and I joined the gym today, we're enthusiastic at the moment...but give it a week or two! ;). Good for you doing the Zumba! I might try the Zumba class at the Spa.

Back to work on Tuesday :(, I've been off for almost three weeks, think I'm going to struggle to go back! :-\

sharpey, hope party is going well, there is only so much lemonade you can drink isnt there!!

henlie- good work on the gym!  dh and i had a guest pass to my colleagues gym and went today. really aching!!  found it really tired me out, think the ol' menopur is having an effect.

have a great long weekend all xxxx

#7 ·
Thanks Henlie and Cherry, party wasn't too bad. Saw a super lovely old friend of mine and had lots of interesting conversations so that was nice. Only one slightly awkward incident.

I think it helps if you both do the gym even if you can't always go together. Sometimes we treat it more like a spa date as there is a pool, jacuzzi and steam/spa which is nice too.

Worth a try Henlie on the zumba, it's good for the spirit I think, my acupuncturist says this is v important during treatment! Hope you enjoy the weekend and don't waste time fretting about work ;)

Night all! Xxxx

Hey Sharpey - glad you had a nice time yesterday! I know what you mean about keeping your spirits up...Ive tried to plan lots of fun stuff these coming weeks. Any sign of AF yet for you?!

Hi Cherry - im also aching this morning...think I over did the weights yesterday?! Will be thinking of you tomorrow!

No sign of AF for me Henlie, though I've been feeling unwell for the last couple of days - don't know if that is related. Exhausted too, would love half a day in bed!  :)

Hope everyone has a nice sunny Sunday, Tunbridge Wells festival is on if any of you like live music.

I think we might wander down to it, we're not far away from the pantiles. I can imagine its going to be rammed! :)

Sounds as though that might be your AF on its way? Fingers crossed for you Sharpey ^reiki^

Hi all

I am heading to the festival so will probably see you Henlie - although no idea who you are !!
Sharpey - hope AF sorts herself out - when  is your baseline again?
Cherry  - good luck for tomorrow!

I am feeling okay. No appetite but apart from that, no symptoms. I have lost some weight but I think that is the post-stim/EC bloat that has finally gone. Thursday can't come soon enough

#12 ·
Thanks Henlie, thanks Bettymax - no sign yet. Have been tidying and cleaning like a demon all day and now relaxing on the sofa having a well earned lie down in my nice tidy house - heaven. Sent DH out to hang out with his friends as I couldn't be bothered with more socialising!

Bettymax - think it is quite common to lose a little weight at the beginning. Have heard of that before. 4 nights to go, hope it goes quickly for you  ^pray^

Hope you both enjoy the festival!

Xxx

Ps Henlie, did you get your full fat organic milk from Waitrose? Haven't seen it in Sainsburies or Tesco?

#13 ·
Hi Sharpey yes, I bought the Duchy milk from Waitrose, Sainsburys also have an organic one too... Do you use the Waitrose in Crowborough?

I must have really overdone it at the gym yesterday, as I'm seriously aching now... :-\. Going back for more tomorrow! Festival ok, quite quiet when we walked through....

Hi Henlie, thanks will pop to Waitrose. It's quite close to us. As you mentioned, acupuncture lady not keen from a Chinese medicine point of view but does Chinese medicine know much about stims?? I think I am in but may investigate ways to eliminate the DAMP that it causes. Do you stop after EC or continue until ET and OTD?  I bought the Zita West book, may consult that too.

I feel your pain, am so achy from Zumba still. May swim tomorrow but when I went yesterday could NOT be bothered!  ^reiki^ for your gym work out tomorrow ;)

DH still out so must be having fun in spite of no booze allowed!

#15 ·
Hey Sharpey! - Well ARGC say to keep up the milk until OTD...I think I wasn't quite as diligent after ET.. ??? Is your DH taking any supplements too?

I was just wondering have you come across the 'scratch' a small procedure they've started using in some clinics for implantation?!

So, do you have to call SEFC when you AF shows up to book scan? I bet you're just looking forward to getting the show on the road now :)

Just watching Peter Kay for some light comedy! ;)

Crikey just googled the milk calories, 650 per litre! Will be size of house by OTD! I suppose two large hot chocolates a day should do it.

Not heard of the scratch method but it doesn't sound very nice! More magic wand and spiky objects I imagine. I guess they would do it unless they found it successful.

Pretty sure they have me booked in for a baseline on Tuesday but I haven't put it in my phone so will have to ring them. Unless AF arrives tomorrow will need to move it anyway. Am pleased to be starting but bit nervous about going through it all again, especially if it doesn't work. I also find the physical restriction post ET such a nightmare.  Will make the most of the next week. Guess I have to stop exercising a few days into stims?

Peter K sounds good.I have the joy of watching some crap DH likes called Vexed - not funny. Guy in it is a sexist pig!

DH is on a men's multivitamin and I think he's also taking some other stuff for optimising food absorption.

Hi ladies, how's the long weekend going?

Had a very stressful weekend. Saturday night I started bleeding and rushed to a&e and was there till 4am wad on a drip as low blood pressure crazy thing is no one could scan me till Tuesday so just felt hopeless. However SEFC where open today and Michael saw me and scanned me and saw 2 heart beats, so all is ok!! What a stress!!!!
He did say my placenta has torn and to expect more bleeding for a while but not to stress so have to stat off my feet for 2 weeks, no work etc.
It was amazing to see heartbeats still doesn't seem real, he did remind us that there is a high chance we may only have one baby in the end.

So im off home to put my feet up, im going to go crazy
betty : not long till ur scan!!!!
Sharpey: hope af arrives soon!!!!!
Henlie: I watched Peter Kay Sewell last night, classic

#20 ·
Thanks Gem. Xx how are you going?

Cherry: you didn't have a white shirt on? We were there round 12. I'm doing ok just on the sofa trying to contain my ms. Congrats on being Pupo!!!!!! Xx xx

#21 ·
Wow Age  - glad you are okay, but what a worry! The worry is never over for us is it? I hope it all turns out okay and glad that Michael was able to scan you.

I'm really busy at the moment, work all day tomorrow and Wednesday and spent today painting and decorating. It is best to keep busy and my mind off of thursday. I am now in quite a panic and terrified about the whole thing.

Actually one positive at the mo is that my skin looks lovely and clear. That and losing weight seem to be my main symptoms - not too bad!!

Cherry - pupo, well done! I haven't drunk any whole milk in my life and during the 2ww carried on the usual way. I even had a load of pate until I realised that was supposed to off limits. Literally the only thing I did differently was to cut down caffeine.

#22 ·
betty,  ^pray^ for thursday, good you are keeping busy hun!
i've cut down my tea intake too and laying off the wine  ;D ;D

#23 ·
Just popped on to say congrats to Cherry for being PUPO! ^reiki^ ^reiki^ Hope the 2ww doesn't drive you too ^idiot^! Are you back at work tomorrow hun?

Sharpey - any sign of AF yet? ^reiki^

Hello to Age, Gem and Betty!

Hi guys,

Henlie no sign of AF, I stupidly decided I would POAS just to rule it out as one day late  ^idiot^ and because I was saying to DH what a massive result it would be to be preggas and not to have to go through another cycle. Anyway, did it and first time ever it said i had done the test wrong and had to repeat. Annoying but I am not buying another one because they are expensive and I know AF will probably just arrive late this week because I am waiting for it! Will have to postpone baseline now.

Age, you poor girl what a worry. Hope you are ok  ^hugme^

Bettymax, hope you also get some time to relax and be calm, you sound like me yesterday. DH did feed me caffeinated tea on purpose though because I was being lazy in bed. I was cleaning and tidying for 8 hours with almost no break - caffeine and nervous tension  ;D

Cherry, Congrats on getting your IUI done, hope you are taking it easy  ^reiki^

Gem, hope you're doing ok?
