Pred keeps u awake. Doxy is poorly absorbed with folic. Bloodflow slows down at night cos of inactivity so clexane may be most use at night. Celebrex and aspirin slightly overlap in their action so seems logical to not take together. Some docs suggest celebrex with food to avoid xs stomach acid

Pixie: p absorbs  and leaves your body v quickly so any changes in p meds have rapid effect.  They do the test precisely because at et you do still have time to fix it

Thanks again for that Agate, I'll take them like that from tomorrow.

I have't responded to Agate and Whatwould buffydo thanks for your advice and the others for your support.
Taking the cyclacur two tablets made me feel awful with a bad headache all day for days. Now much improved still the odd headache but not all day. I'm glad I'm taking aspirin as I was slightly worried that I could get a blood clot! As its double the dose of the Pill and I know an assessment is always done about the risk of complications and blood pressure done when you take contraception. My head felt like it would explode a bit scary but I felt Penny must know all about this, not long before I need to stop. I've decided to follow Penny advice if my AF comes earlier than expected it's nothing I can do.

Hello can anyone help me, I received my neuropgen yesterday from Serum. I only had. 5 pre filled syringes. How do I administer, did ask for needles but have not got any in the parcel. Having read on here about a pen that's meant to come with it. Surely I don't keep using same needle. Confused and a bit scared if taking this drug. Do you think it's worth taking. Any success from ladies with neuropgen.had a MMC
Thank you X

Email dimitra for some help and get some 1ml syringes with detachable needles to tide you over til you get a pen and cartridge.  When you get a pen there is a video on the GCSF instructions thread.  For the syringes you just inject equalish portions into the syringes then put the covered needles on and store in fridge.  Normally each syringe gets split into 4-7 portions.  The side of the zarzio is marked into 'slices' to help you split it. Don't panic, OK, lots of us have taken it with not much problem except a bit of achey bones.

Morning all,

super quickie -

Lisa88: gosh, we do sound like we're having some similar experiences. I'll message you!

Sonneblume: I do hope your headache isn't so bad today. Fingers crossed all works out ok soon.

All the best to all,

Hi to all the lovely ladies and agate, I just found out that Penny plans on using GCSF for my next cycle. I am terrified to say the list. Is it true about all the side  effects and the hair loss? What is the long-term damage from it? My very brief consult with google said it is used to thicken the lining (I have never had problems with that) and CHR published the results of it not being effective. I used CHR (center for human reproduction in NYC) for my egg improvement therapy and used to trust their opinion. confused I am.

Hi

I have a question about transportation of pregnyl that I'm hoping someone can help with.  Dimitra said it needs to be kept refrigerated and gave me an ice pack.  However this wont last the flight home tomorrow, as I leave at 10 in the morning and won't arrive home until 7.30 pm due to connections and I don't have a cool bag ( didn't think of this when I booked flight  :-[)

So I did a little search and saw a few ladies had used a thermos with ice cubes in so I've just gone out and bought one, but what do I wrap the meds in?  A plastic bag won't be enough I'm guessing as it will freeze?  Facecloth maybe or will that warm it up too much??  ^idiot^

#1,765 ·
Its in a little cardboard box right?

Normally if you put that in a sealed plastic bag, then put that next to the ice pack, then wrap some clothes around for insulation and the whole thing in tinfoil it lasts for a long day of travelling.... especially as pregnyl isn't quite so sensitive as neupogen...but if you are using a thermos, I'd just put the box in a plastic bag and tie it tight and then put that in the thermos.  If you wanted you could wrap it in a facecloth or a vest or something before putting it in the bag if there is room in your thermos.

I kind of think you might get more questions from airport security about a thermos though... but I'm not sure.

My meds just came back in a plastic bag with ice packs in my hand luggage - I like to think that was ok and at least airport could see exactly what it was

Ah thanks ladies, seems I've gone a bit OTT panicking it will get too warm!

So if it's in the ice pack/clothes and tin foil Am I best to put it in hand luggage or would this cause suspicion also.  If I should, I was wondering if I can get ice cubes or something on the plane once the ice pack melts...

#1,770 ·
Thank you Agate have emailed re neuropgen pen and needles. Also my parcel should of arrived in the morning but didn't arrive until after 4 with the neuropgen inside. How sensitive is it , ice pack was warm X

#1,771 ·
I was thinking of putting these, syringes and clexane in hand luggage but I take your point.  I might split half of the remainder just in case my case gets lost.

Yes they've given me a letter so I hope that will be sufficient.

Eddie. Neupogen is pretty sensitive to temp.  No problem with just getting to room temp before you jab it but it gets less potent as it stays above 6deg for long.  So what I think I'd do is to use it but arrange an fbc for about 4-5 days after start then if you aren't responding you can discuss with p whether to up the dose?

#1,773 ·
Eddie try not to worry, my ice packs were warm by the time I arrived in Athens and I still got pregnant with the neupogen.
