Maria I believe it's already gone up to 3000 euro for last couple of months due to it not covering costs.

Maria, ciao!  ^hugme^ When I asked in Nov. Penny said it would still be 2000 euro.  :)

#2,330 ·
Worth an ask then Maria  :-\ pretty sure Agate and I had this convo with somebody else recently on another thread tho and I said 2000 then too but was told by Agate 3000 due to cost, so perhaps 2k it is??

Sorry Maria, Blondie was right and I was wrong.  :( I asked Penny and got a reply right away: Frozen Embryo Adoption is now 3000 euro for 2 embryos (not 3 anymore).  ^eyes^ I am very disappointed that Penny didn't tell me when we were discussing my options just 3 weeks ago, but oh well, live and learn. So did you decide to give up on OE or will you do a combo? Best of luck, my dear!  ^hugme^ Lots of baby dust you way.  ^fairydust^

Hi
Do you know when serum close for Xmas?  I'm waiting for a intralipids prescription to be emailed but not getting any reply.

Thanks x

I can't get bloods done for preg test 12-days post transfer because of Christmas closures. I could get them done 10-days post transfer (it was a 5 day transfer). I've done three pregnyl shots since the transfer (and a trigger shot of pregnyl the week before). If I do the test early it would be 6 days after the last pregnyl shot. Is that enough for it not to make a difference?

The alternative would be to get bloods done 15 days post transfer. So I'd do hpt 12 days post transfer then, if the hpt were positive, bloods 15 days post transfer. The disadvantage of this is that if it's a struggling pregnancy I'd only know this later so any rescue shots would be later.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thank you.

Purplepeak, hi! I would get bloods done 10 days after ET. :) There are clinics that test 9 days past a 5 day ET. Good luck!

Ladies, also worth noting that they are no longer doing fresh donor back up cycles for €3000 and you have to do the full fresh donor cycle at €5000 - this is again down to cost.  It seems a pretty big hike to me to be honest but it is what it is!

Finchy, hello! :) Yes, I know, unfortunately. I am not sure on what to do now.  :( I might have to look for another clinic, but I sooo don't want to. Are you cycling again soon?

Purple peak, I did my blood test 6 days after the last of 3 pregnyl shots and the numbers came back high enough to be conclusive. But if your numbers came back on the lower side, although that might still be absolutely fine in terms of the pregnancy,  at that stage due to the pregnyl it might be doubtful still how to interpret the blood test. Although Penny would perhaps be able to advise you.

Hi Clara!  Glad to see you're back on here and jumping in again.  I'm not sure I can take getting to know another clinic and whilst it has increased it's still 'reasonable' for donor I guess.  We also have sperm frozen and my hubby has not taken a single supplement since that so pretty sure it'd be awful if he had to do fresh somewhere!  It's defnirely our last throw of the dice though, need to move on if this doesn't work.  Were you planning on DD FET or DD fresh?  Fingers crossed for both of us this time! (and everyone else on the threads of course...)

Hi Agate

I just got another BFN and wondered if you might be able to say in your opinion, whether my OTD bloods sound low to you?
I have been on 100ui Prontogest injections and 75ui Neupogen.  My results were 2.6ng/ml for progesterone and 18.0umol/L for WBC.
I have emailed Peny but thought that Progesterone should be over 40 and WBC over 25?  Or am just getting myself in a muddle?!  ^idiot^

Thanks
Podge
xx

Hi I've a couple of questions about FETs

At Serum are Natural Cycle FETs more successful than Medicated Cycle FETs? How does Penny decide which one is best suited to you?

#2,346 ·
Thanks Agate. Am I right in thinking that with a medicated FET I could pick a transfer date to suit me in advance thus allowing me to book flights etc well in advance but the risk of doing so is that the womb lining might not be optimal thickness on the scan done a few days before transfer?

Also can you tell me is there a big difference in success rates of one frozen embryo being transferred compared to two or more frozen embryos?
What are the statistics for twins v singleton if more than one embryo is transferred?

The frozen embryos are 'perfect' double donor blastocysts frozen last year (so using Serums latest freezing techniques)

Yes.

I think if you transfer 2, then the twins rate is about 40% of Pgs.

I THINK if you do SET then you normally drop the success rates by about 30%ish.

Remember if you froze 2 together in the same vial you have to defrost them both.

Hi ladies, I usually use reprofit in Czech but might be using serum soon. I was wondering how many eggs can they transfer? I'm currently going to do a 5 th transfer but I do like to have a back up plan x
Thanks
Depends on your age. See my serum file.
