If you take at night you have a bit more chance to sleep through the side effects?

Thanks a lot agate. Just wasn't sure if either would make a difference in terms of follicle growth. But that makes sense about side effects

If anyone is reading... this is my first time using clomid. Is it normal to have no cm at all? I am cd8 and usually at this stage I am starting to have a lot.

Hi Kitkat I wouldn't worry about CM at all - when is your scan? xx

Thanks Ilovewesties and luckyE! Taking mine at night as well and no side effects but also no cm ... I have a scan tomorrow so will know if there are any follicles. It's just so strange that there is zero cm. I know I don't need it because it will.be a freeze cycle and hence no need to have a good lining, just hope it doesn't mean I don't respond to the clomid

    Hey KitKat,
I had no CM on either of my Clomid cycles. - this is not surprising to me.  I had normal cm the following cycle when I wasn't on clomid.

CM is produced largely in responce to Oestrogen - Clomid is and Anti-Oestrogen so it stops the other effects of Oestrogen as well as the feedback to the brain to produce more natural FSH.

    Hope all is well.

Hi queenie that makes sense! Just had my scam and 2 follicles at 20mm,  2 at 10mm and rest smaller. With such poor results is it best to cancel? Should I not have 4-5 eggs?

Hi girls, sorry to butt in, but I was offered to do a clomid cycle with Penny and am a little worried, because I heard that it can cause cysts and fibroids for some ladies. Has anyone had any experiences like this?

Katkat- I don't know if 4-5 follicles are the norm, I am also worried that I would only have 2 eggs. But if they are good quality and fertilise, then that's what matters. x

Depends a lot on your values before.
    What was your AFC?

My first Clomid cycle I got 2 good eggs and that was all Clomid.
Clomid doesn't select all the eggs so it is likely that the ones it has selected are good ones.  It produces the best eggs.

I would be very happy with 2 at 20 personally, but my first cycle I was expecting more as well.
But if your AFC is higher than mine you might want to wait.
