Wow, this thread is really inspiring. I've been in tears... happy ones  :)  I'm only just starting out on my journey, but had to post to say thank you.

I'm also getting addicted to this site (more reading than posting) - I presume that's normal.   ;D

    Well done ladies and babies!

LittleMoo born 14/11/13 with DH & I both aged 41.

Second IVF but third pregnancy.  She has 3 angel siblings (1 lost to ectopic, 1 m/c and she had a twin).

She is our first, our last, our everything!  (due to problems with fertility on my side and me feeling like I wouldn't recover from THIS one before it was too late! lol  ;D )

    Moo x x

    Hi Everyone,

    I feel a bit uneasy:

This was my first attempt at IVF which was successful. I didn't do any of the run up with trying different methods as it was just shortly before my 40th that we had our first appointment and due to a prolactinoma the consultant thought it would be a waste of time and to get a NHS funded course I needed to get going. I only had 8 days to decide whether we wanted to go ahead to ensure enough time before my birthday.

I never ever expected it to work but here we are:

Little Boy - Keider 5lb 6oz born at 37 weeks by emergency C-section

    One's enough for us!!
