Kirst, I was thinking of you today, sorry I don't come on here much, but wanted to say Good Luck  ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^

Melanie, I've got a low amh and we only got 2 eggs on our first cycle and only one developed normally. He is sat watching In the Night Garden now in his PJs  :)  Don't give up hope, sometimes quality is better than quantity  ^hugme^

Hello ladies! Thank you so much or your replies an yor pma  ;D

Kirst, so sorry to hear bout your father in law.

My meds arrived today so I gave myself my first ever injection of GOnal F (at work!). It wasnt nearly as bad as I had imagined it would be! I had built it up to this big deal in my head! I'm on th short cycle, so whe I go ovr to Wessex next Weds I'll know whether or not I'm responding well.

My interview also went pretty well. I havet heard back yet, but I gave it my best shot, answered the qustions pretty well and also asked some good questions I think, so it just depends on the other candidats I guess. I couldnt have done anything more anyway. I currently work in a school and due to reorganisation I will be losing my job in the summer so I have gone for another job within the council, wont say too much more on here at the mo as the island is so small and you never know who might be reading!
We also bought a house today! Not moving in til the end of next month, but very excited! Going round to see it for the fist time as our house, woo hoo!

So sorry to hear your news Kirst  :(

Our appt is on Monday but I dont think tx will start for a while. We are discussing our options on Monday, but i want to throw it all at this next tx as its my last year of trying. So i reckon DE will be best go, instead of my oldey eggs! We will see what Dr F says. Are you doing full IVF again?

Great news for you Melanie! New house, maybe new job, all looking good. The injections become second nature after a while, you could do it with your eyes shut. Well done for being brave! Good luck with your appt!

Hope your all well, take care  :)

    Hello ladies,

Well, as the title says I had my scan today (on short cycle). Due to my low AMH levels, I only have one follie, 15mm. But it only takes one, so you never know, we might just get our little miracle!

I have another scan on Friday to see if it's grown, and then I guess if it hasnt we will abandon the cycle. But I have faith in this follie, it may be the only one but as my friend said to me today, I bet its got attitude! And determination (we even namesd it Folliana!)! Go follie, go go go!

IF it doesnt work, we will deal with it then, and book our DE cycle, but in the meantime, positivity all the way!

I have booked my first accupuncture session too onFriday with a fertility/IVF specialist(Carol Parker at watchbell House, anyone used her?). OH is very sceptical but I would like to give it a go- wish I had started sooner really.

I got the job by the way, heard on Mnday evening on way in to weight watchers, wher I had lost 4lbs!

    Hi Melanie, Kirst and Maisymai

Great news about the job Melanie! And i love the sound of folliana, Im sure she is a kick ^Booty^ follicle!! Fingers crossed for Fridays scan.

Kirst, Im hoping AF comes when she is meant to! She can be a pain sometimes, here when you dont want her, not here when you do. But as you have been on prov tabs im sure she will be here. This is going to be you time  ^hugme^

AFM - Went to Mondays appt, i got very upset, last time we were there we were going for our 8 week scan so it bought back horrid times  :'(  But, Dr F gave us some options. I wish he would just say, right you are going to do this, this and this, I'm too tired to make decisions about what to do next. But any way, me and DP have decided to  do ED in Cape Town. They know us, we love the clinic and you get to have a choice of ED, in Spain it seems they choose your compatible Donor. So its now a case of trawling through the egg donor sites to find one!! Not how i ever imagined i would be making a baby  :(  Like us all, it was meant to be easy. Ill stop wallowing in self pity now and get down to choosing a biological Mum!!

Best of luck to you both for you tx's

    Curly xx
