Can I be a nuisance again? Haha!

I have been told by Mr T that I will be doing the short protocol when I eventually cycle either in April or May depending on my cykotines! When you say yesterday was your baseline scan, is that the first time they scanned you this cycle? When you did you day 1 bloods did they give you the result that day & then tell you that you were cycling? What drugs are they using on the short protocol?

The baseline scan was for follicle growth it's about the third scan I had - but everyone is different. Yes they gave me the results that day but I didn't start cycling till about the third day because the hysteroscopy had made the results inconclusive due to a continuous bleed. I actually started on day 3 of blood tests but most start injections on the second I think. The drugs are fostimon and merinal and the combination can vary - I have been put on 600 units for now I am also taking clomid & viagra. Again everyone is different but I imagine you will use fostimon & merinal during your cycle.

Oh and why are you taking Viagra and clomid? How much was the Viagra? haha! You said it made you faint! Did you have lining issues previously ~ is that why they are giving you it? Do you live in London? Have you got your NK results yet?

Hi all I hope that you don't mind me joining in? I had my NK cells essay and ratio results back yesterday. Apparently I have a slightly raised NK cell count (should be 12 and mine is 14) and my helper cells are raised. So I'm having pred 10mg then raised to 20mg and ivig one before I take northistrone and one between day 4-9 of stimms.

I just wanted to know if the ivig hurts? It sounds horrible. I will have it done but was just curious!

the only painful bit is having the needle put in your hand/arm for the cannula.... after that the side effects etc are in faq.

Just read your thread on immune issues and the FAQ ( you are great help by the way)

I have PCOS and have been on metformin for the last 4 years now.. Had my first cycle of IVF which failed, tested today (OTD) with a BFN 

I had 5d transfer and the blasts were of good quality but I had flu like symptoms, cold and cough, sore throat the day after ET.. I did wonder where it came from as I didn't have any symptoms before.. I initially nought it could have the ice cold water I had before my ET but now reading through your thread it might have been my NK reacting to the embryos..

I need to get an appointment with my clinic (Oxford) to book in for my next cycle but do you think I need to get them to test my NK cells or have all of the immune tests done just in case..
Do I need to see a separate immunologist as well?? I am so desperate to move along after my failed IVF but would like to check everything before attempting the FET ( have 4 frozen ones from the IVF cycle).. Please advise..
