Re: Advice required on Embryo Donation

Hi

I'd like to know if anyone knows for sure if the Embryo Donation at Czech Republic uses leftover embryos that couples have donated as well as creating some especially for their donor embryo treatment?  I read a message on their website that they do offer this option but I need some more confirmation, if possible.

I hope someone will reply.

Thanks

I am under the impression that all donor embryo's have been created from DE/DS only.  Couples have done a DE/DS cycle can donate their frozen embryo's.  I don't believe the embryo's can be from DE and DH sperm.  I do think most clinics have a back up donor and they will use DS to create embryo's to use for their program.

Yes, I think they are created from Donor eggs and sperm.  I'm trying to search for the best and also the most affordable places where they offer donor embryos that have been donated by couples or individuals.

I have done 1 frowen embryo donation cycle at Gennet. It cost 1400 euros for 2 embryos (would be 700 for 1). This is pretty reasonable! The embryos are made from donor sperm and donor eggs.
