How is everyone else?

Hi ladies hope we all had a easy Xmas with out ms! I was just wondering if any one else finds the pregcare tablets gross? I have tried two or three different brands and they get worse. Anyone having the same problem and found one that don't make your ms twices as worse after taking it? ^Cuddle^

Hope every one is looking forward to the new year x x x  ;D

Hiya

Pregnacare tablets make me sick also but I am a northerner so I am still taking them until they're finished. I have been told that sanatogen ones are better but I have yet to investigate.

Tip - don't take them late at night like I did last night :-(

Hello Ladies

I have just been catching up and my heart is now so heavy and sad, I really can not believe the sad stories on this thread. My heart goes out to you.
ran - thinking of you and I hope you get some clearer answers soon.
big big hugs to goldbunny, sarah, Louise and star. I am in shock. So so sorry. ^hugme^ ^hugme^ ^hugme^ ^hugme^

afm - So I am back on the thread as we had an "emergency" scan today at 8 weeks as everything wasn't great with my last scan and I am more than happy to tell you all that little bean has done us proud and is measuring a perfect 1.7cms and has a lovely strong heartbeat of 170. We got to hear it's heartbeat and we have some lovely pictures. We couldn't believe how much it had grown since our 6wk+5 scan. We could really make out the shape of it's head and little feet. Amazing. It was a very emotional scan for both of us after our scare. I can't remember if I mentioned or not but after she had said she wasn't sure the heartbeat was strong enough we also found out it was either coming away or hadn't stuck properly and I had to basically do nothing. So I rested and rested and we've been blessed with good news and there's now no sign of any problem with it being 'unstuck'. I have my 9wk+5 still booked with my IVF consultant for the 8th Jan and I have my 12wk(+1d) booked for 25th Jan. So so relieved.
I hope you are all doing well.
Love Suzy xxxxxxxxxxxx

hey ladies, my heart is so heavy with all the sad news, Goldbunny, Sarah, Louise and Star, my thoughts are with u all. xx

how everyone else doing? xxx

AFM: i ended up in A&E last night as got severe pain in my side and back that wouldnt go away we was petrified as M/C in feb. They did bloods and urine dip to check for infection which all came back clear but didnt check baby. My blood pressure was really high too at 162/107 but that didnt get checked before went home so contacted midwife today and she did home visit to check it and it was fine 120/72(lowest it ever been!!) she also listened to heartbeat and we managed to hear it, it was amazing and she contacted my local EPU and i got a scan on sunday at 09:40!! so fingers crossed scan will be all good then got another sca on 2/1/13. Lets hope sunday scan gives me and hubby a fab new year pressie!!! xxx

I take pregnacare and they used to always make me sick. So i did some research a little and found out that you should take the tablet with a meal never on an empty stomach because the iron that is in the tablets make you feel nauseous! Since i take them with food ive been fine with them.

#13 ·
Thanks Sweet_bliss that reminded me to take today's dose now I have managed to keep down a turkey sandwich!

Dare I try some trifle?? :)

Hi
Please can you add my 12 week scan date on 8th Jan
Thanks
I always take the pregnacare after dinner in the evening and always been fine, but I suppose everyone is different. :)

Hi ladies....just bookmarking.

hjanea...my nausea subsided about 2 weeks ago. I still gag at smells and the 'thought' of certain foods, but that kind of hangover feeling has gone...thankfully! I am 11w tomorrow and apart from my (.)(.) needing their own postcode and being tired, I am lucky with the symptom side of things  :)

I have just braved the sales in Manchester. I went specifically for a bag I had seen in Fat Face...which had sold out when I got there! I managed to order it on the internet! Could have saved myself a trip! I did get a couple of kind of tunic'y tops that will do me well into the 2nd trimester though  :)  so it was worth elbowing my way through the crowds! xxx

#16 ·
Suzy- so pleased to hear that all is well with you!!

Managed to eat loads at mums but feel really sick now and just about to go for my flu jab!

#17 ·
Suzy - thank god! I am so happy to hear about your little Christmas miracle.

Hi to everyone else.I have a scan booked in at 2 tomorrow for reassurance after a small bleed. I will keep you all posted.

Hi,

I don't get to post on here very much and there is always so much to catch up on!

I am so sorry to hear about those who have had MMC and other bad news. So sad when we all deserve that happy ending.

We've just had our 12 week scan and all is looking fine. Have to wait for the test results for the downs testing but regardless of what it shows we won't have any further testing. Due date has been moved forward to 6th July and they said as its IVF they'll induce.

Anyway not sure when I'll get back on here so just want to wish you all the best for 2013 and hope it brings lots of happiness.

Yes was taking pregnacare while ttc for about 2 months, stomach dud not like coating and kept being sick. Fiund it really upsetting at the time, cruel some days as I would entertain the slightest hope pregnant only for AF to make an appearance. Now I take them all seperately, its a bit like eating a handful of skittles every morning but I can see a difference in nails and skin. But everyone's system is different

Hiya ladies, hope you are all well.  Suffering with terrible heartburn over the last couple of days.  I just wanted your opinion on something.  I have asked this question before and I had some replies but I can't find it from the last time and just wanted to ask again as it's happened again today.  Today and one day last week I had a bit of brown discharge and it's worried me and I have been googling (which I need to stop).  It's like the colour I always got just hours before AF shown her face.  It just makes me feel so anxious, DH is great and tries to reassure me but I just wondered if anyone else has had this.

Haley I had yucky brown spotting several times but never got to red. Most people I know with kids have said they had spotting from brown right though to red at some point in their pregnancy. I think mine was remaining AF blood which they actually saw as fluid when they measured my initial lining depth. Progesterone sups can cause irritation as well.

I wanted to thank you all for keeping me sane, I really don't know what I would do without FF!

Big question remaining for the day - do I risk trying trifle? I think it would taste the same coming back up anyway so twice the pleasure (!!!??? Mental? Me? Perhaps a little!)

At least it would be soft on the way back up! Toast this morning was not pleasant second time around! Give it a try and report back!!

#24 ·
Oh and Ran I had a thought about your worries about increased hcg and increased ms- I presume because you are worried that you are not sleeping well? I have found with this time and with DD when I hadn't slept well the ms was loads worse and when I was working an early shift it lasted until nearly 20 weeks with DD, but if I'd hada lie in it was gone. Just a thought.

Oooo trifle! I find dairy horrid when it comes back I just can't stomach any dairy!

#26 ·
Haley brown blood is OK it's as long as it's not bright red. but it doesn't stop us worrying, if it continues maybe ring your midwife Hun. ^reiki^

dogmammy great news on your scan Hun  :)

Briony  oh no what a scare you've had, so glad you got to hear bubbas heart beat  :) what a relief!

Suzy aw Hun that's brilliant news,so happy for you  :)

hjanea hope the sickness improves Hun  ^reiki^

lynz hello Hun, try not to worry I know it's easier said than done, but I haven't had any sickness for about 2weeks or more, just trying not to stress.....lol  ^hugme^

regarding the folic acid,my midwife told me to stickc to the pregnacare as it's best for bubbas, than after my 12week scan she has recommended some vits for the rest of the pregnancy! we went through so much, I'm going to be under consultant too, as I have a under active thyroid, plus she also said I was to get a prescription off my GP for aspirin, to avoid pre- eclampsia. don't know much about this so will have to do some research!

Hello to everyone else. xxx
