i agree with mccrea- have you considered argh ( lister and create dont come close interms of ratings). seemingly they are good with low amh because unlike other clinics they tailor your protocol ( tweak things according to bloods etc). they dont put so much emphasis on amh by the way. you have a good antral follicle count and they are more concerned with fsh, needs to be below 10 to cycle with them ( yours is 9 so you should be fine). they have the best results in uk and many people go to them as 'last chance saloon'. they are expensive, as during your cycle you are into clinic every day for bloods which cost extra. they are leaders in the field in terms of reproducive immunology ( which is quite controversial though) and they also offer chromosomal screening of embryos.

argh is ivf bootcamp though. from what i have read you have to be in london for all the stimm phase ( in and out every day for bloods)- ive read there are 'no frills' and its quite tough going and very expensive. I live in ireland and have low amh. i am on last chance saloon too. Personally if i had the money ( im not sure our finances can stretch that far  :-\) thats where id go.

best of luck. i think you are dead right to change clinic and try for somewhere better!!

ps be careful with dhea. not all fertility experts are fans of it ( concern over egg quality). Have you considered consulting nutritionist who specialises in fertility (m. glanville for instance). Some good quality supplements and key changes to yours and hubbys diet could make all the difference. you are better getting tailored diet from nutritionist.... also i presume your dh's sperm have been checked eg dna fragmentation ( can also effect embryo quality particularly as embryo develops from day 3 to blastocyst).

    Hello everyone,

The first of the 3 consultations started- create being first and I was pleasantly surprised! the dr was so positive and went thru our options. I liked the clinic everyone was really friendly and he gave us a glimpse of hope this was much needed after our miserable experience prior to this! Lister and argc are also this week so I can let u know about argc after I've been!

I've also decided I will not be taking dhea.

Decisions decisions but we will be going with oe on our next go.

Having a good time in London too and in positive I saw that dr Christian from embarrassing bodies sat outside. Bar today lol!

    Hi ladies,
just to let you know had consultation with lister today, was very happy bar 2 points- first they think I responded great to LP and would want to do that again and we ended up waiting half hour extra to see consultant which is a downside for me as I hate people being late!! He was very focused on immunes and other tests we need doing before proceeding mainly karotyping, sperm DNA fragmentation and another bunch on my list! But actually feel like getting somewhere now! Both clinics I have seen now have been astounded the clinic in the midlands were reluctant to treat us! To me lister is preferable to create as they really went into tests needed but I just think the lp is a downside but hey what do I know! So one more consultation to go!! Progress!!!

    Hope everyone is well xxx

    Hi ladies,
Had the last of the consultations today with the argc!! Mutual decision we want to cycle with them but have to have test results on 2 bloods then we go from there! really happy with their service, and was just so impressed with them. They want me on sp which I knew so bit baffled why lister want to put me on lp! But honestly was happy with service on all three clinics but for us argc won hands down xx

Hi Sweetpea - bet you are please to make your decision and get the ball rolling again ! Sounds like you really like ARGC.

I need to download and fill in their form and the send it off to book our initial consultation. Will probably do that soon .... Sort off putting it off till our follow up on the 24th .... But will do it sooner as I too think their numbers are amazing !!

Which two blood tests do you need to have ??
