    Hi there,
Sorry for the 'me' post but I just wanted to let you know that our scan this morning showed no heartbeat.  I had a feeling that things weren't quite right over the last couple of days so it's not as big a shock as it might have been.  Spent most of the day in EPU and now at home waiting for the meds they gave me to take effect.  If they don't work it'll be surgery on Monday.  I'd like to avoid that but I'm back at work after maternity leave next Wednesday and don't want to be dealing with this then xxx

Oh Eiluj - I am so sorry to read this.  There's nothing anyone can really say to make you feel better at these times.  Just know we've been there and are thinking of you.  Just phone in sick if you have to.  I know its not ideal when you're first back, but most people you work with won't even notice the extra few days.

Eiluj I'm so very, very sorry. I second what Sporty said. I can see why it seems preferable not to affect your return, but do what's best for you and your family first of all.

    Huge hugs xxx
