Hi ladies,
Was wondering if any of you have experiences with donor eggs at CARE?  More specifically, looking at what the wait times are for a donor?  I have heard 6 weeks, but seen someone posted on here they were told 4 years?
TIA!! :D

    Hi Meg

It's never been 4 years at Care, there's no waiting list as such but it takes a bit of time for matching and arranging, I would say between 4-10 weeks would be the average, it depends what your requirements are too

    L xx

    Hi ladies,

I'm back - I sadly found out at my 8 week scan on Tuesday that I'd had another Mmc, had medical management yesterday but had to be kept in due to heavy bleeding. We had a brief conversation with care regarding Chicago tests but wondered if anyone knows the time scales for these. X

    I'm so so sorry

That's what happened to me 1st scan all fine then 2nd no HB  ^hugme^

We had Chicagos after that it took from memory about 10 weeks to have the results discussed with them, they did give them me over the phone after about 5 weeks but it was a longer wait to sit and discuss with them xx

Meg - I am going forward as a donor, we are going to the clinic on Friday so will ask what they say on average for matches and let you guys know. It's my first time with IVF this time so will let you know.

Nat - I am so so sorry! It's Incredible how we hold on for each other in the group, it's got me upset. I hope you're okay. Rest up well, keep hydrated and keep eating. I will keep you in my thoughts x

Morning ladies - just to let you know that the NHS have finally pulled their fingers out and approved our ICSI funding at CARE.

CARE are now on it and I should be cycling in early July, assuming all paperwork and drugs are in place by then. They should be, I've told CARE that this is my plan as otherwise we can't get going until September due to our donors holiday.

Massive relief - even though I knew it would be approved, its great to hear it for sure!
