Thanks,
I think I was having a real wobble about my IVF on Friday and was worrying over nothing. It was one of those times you wind yourself up over things and your brain spirals out of control! x

Hi Degas,
I was an NHS patent that moved over to care but am self funded now. Was absolutely no difference in my protocol either tines. (I did long) if they are doing short with you it's because they feel it's the best cycle for you. I haven't had my AMH or AFC done for over 5 years, I had to have my initial blood tests redone last year as they were out of date. When I do my long cycle I don't get seen until 2 weeks after starting d/r then it is just a scan. In fact I didn't have any blood tests related to my cycle, just monitoring scans. You will find it a lot less stressful and no early morning visits did bloods repeatedly

Thanks. Not sure why I've been given the buserelin? Hmmm.....
Do CARE recommend any supplements like DHEA OR Ubiquinol? Or any others? Not sure if I should try or stay away haha x

They've never recommended any supliments to me so I'd double check with them before taking anything x

I got a bfp 2 years ago on my 3rd cycle and now wish to try for a sibling.
However I have been prescribed utrogestan this time whereas my last bfp I used cyclogest. Shall I ask for the cyclogest as it worked last time for me or is there no difference in them?
I asked them the reason why and they said there has been recently been problems with the absorption of the cyclogest pessaries and recommend using utrogestan.
I don't know what to do!

If I was you I'd trust what they say, they won't do anything that won't be of benefit and there must be enough research to validate the reason for it. My cycle this time I've been given lupion injections as well as cyclogest for similar reasons x
