Hello

Firstly sorry I find myself posting here I just figured it would be the best place to ask

I have had large endometriomas removed 15-18cm in 2013, a recent scan showed a 6cm cyst but they said it wasn't an endometrioma and that it had a blood supply and hard tissue inside, my surgeon thought it looked a bit iffy so sent me for a few tests that day and they faxed them to my GP today and the GP called me in tonight after closing to give them to me, it was above normal range but not by a lot

I was also at my GP yesterday morning for what I thought might be a kidney infection as had abnormal bleeding and terrible lower back pain, even despite POF I always had regular 22 day cycles and never ever had any spotting but past 3 cycles have been 37,21,10 and spotting constantly, GP ran tests for kidney and liver function and thyroid as she was worried I lost 2 stone since June/July, my white bloods cells came back really low so no idea what's going on

Anyone had similar?

Sorry you are having such tough time  ^hugme^

A few years ago I was getting problems with pain and bleeding (including cycles ranging from 14 to 104 days, and constant bleeding for months). I had slightly dodgy blood test results, high ca125 and then an abnormal smear result. As you can imagine I was fearing the worse. I had the abnormal cervical cells removed (about half my cervix) and it was confirmed that I had CIN3/CIS - so basically pre-cancerous cells. However, none of my problems were caused by these cells and they were all eventually put down to being caused by endo/pcos/stupid hormones (all of which were undiagnosed at the time).

I know it's not the same, but just wanted you to know you aren't alone  ^hugme^

I hope that things get moving and you get some positive answers soon. Have you been given an indication of your next steps?

    Thinking of you xxx

    Hi Lilly

Sorry you find yourself in this situation, I know having endo can raise your CA125 levels, however I hope they are still urgently investigating all of these collective symptoms for you as you can never be too careful. What are the next steps for you now? Hope its nothing dodgy hun and things can be quickly sorted out for you xxx

Hi, Lilly, I'm very sorry you're having to deal with this.  ^hugme^ ^hugme^ I suspect you will get referred to an oncologist (esp. given the weight loss, assuming you weren't doing quite a strict weight-loss regimen), or maybe haematologist, to at least rule out lupus, leukemia, and ovarian cancer. Hopefully it's none of these things, and like the other ladies say the elevated CA-125 is down to endo and the low white cell count and other issues you're having are nothing too serious.

Sending lots of good wishes your way.  ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ Stay on your GP about getting referred to a specialist ASAP.  ^hugme^

    Thanks ladies  ^hugme^

Cloudy that must have been so scary for you, my smear was normal so that's reassuring couldn't imagine the stress you had of it coming back abnormal.

Arty I have read loads about the link with endo but mines never been raised before and white blood cells never been low, I'm not hugely worried as like you say a lot comes with endo just with them saying my new cyst looks a bit iffy

CH I was dieting at first back In June/July as was using that my fitness pal to try shift the weight from steroids from my last cycle but been eating normal with zero excercise and it's still dropping off.

White bloods cells can be linked to cancer but can also be linked to autoimmune issues which as they say endo is so I'm sure it's just that,GP is repeating bloods and hospital repeat scan Dec and follow up early Jan

Thanks for the replies just helps to talk it through doesn't it?

It's good they're doing repeat bloods soon at least, hopefully the low white cell count is a one-off.  ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^
