Prague fertility centre - General chat and cycling part 3

Dear all
We went to the Prague Fertility Centre two weeks ago and did the tests they wanted us to do. But when we started talking about the donor. It became clear that they would not have a donor that would look like me. I have a brown skin color. It was very confusing since we paid for the tests. And on the phone before the trip she was telling us that she had a miracle donor. Back home we decided to stop the working with the Centre and we are now with a Spanish clinic. But Mirna will not send me my test results. And when I called her she is claiming that I didn"t have the STD and thyroid tests done. I feel so lost at the moment. Does anyone of you have an emailadres of another Assistant? Maybe she can help me out.

Hello all! We went to PFC on Thursday, 22 March. We did FET and have two 4-day morulas on board. Praying they stick!

Mattysmrs - I’m supposed to test on 06 April. I tested before my OTD  in September and got a positive. I was so happy when we got our positive that I allowed myself to start looking at maternity clothes, nursery items, etc. but then we lost it at 7 weeks.  So this time I’ve decided I’m not going to test early and wait it out as long as I can.

Congratulations on every child was born.

My third time donor embryos test is negative. So no luck for me.

Kitkat, I feel the same, frustrated and lost. 3 times - all BFNs.

I am also looking what consultation or tests I need to do before the next cycle.

I have looked at Fertility -academy.co.uk, where Dr Gorgy works. Maybe try him? Any recommendation for him with implantation failures?

I am also looking to do uNK with Dr Quenby in Warwick. Any recommendation there?

BakingQueen you have mentioned miscarriage clinic in Epsom. As I have never had miscarriage , only implantation failures, I am thinking are they right for me?

I might try Dr Gorgy clinic first and if I don't like them , maybe Epsom one?

Linbruzaite I sought out a consultant who also specialised in recurrent implantation failure. He performed a hysteroscopy that detected a septum in my uterus. This was removed and the next cycle gave me my bfp. Where abouts in the U.K. Are you?

I cycled at PFC, six donor egg cycles in total; all BFNs or miscarriage. I finally changed to a clinic in the US with high success rates, and got pregnant the first time with twins and had a successful live birth

It seems many here turn to immune testing, gluten free diets, all that. I  looked into all those things too as the failed cycles at PFC convinced me for a while that I had some mysterious problem. But the "problem" wasn't me.

Clinics in the US publish stats from all their cycles in  sart.org. How many cycles were done at that clinic, how many resulted in pregnancy, how many did not. I don't know any similar published stats from clinics in Europe. It seems with European clinics, you just have to go by whatever they claim their success rates are.

It’s a BFN for us too. We got our hopes up when we started to get BFPs at 6dp5dt but it hasn’t progressed so we’ve had another chemical. Really thought we had it cracked with the immunes protocol but it appears not. I was quite ill over Christmas with severe allergic reactions resulting in an operation on my eye so I wonder if we did things too soon after that.

Linz - yes, definitely speak to the clinic in Epsom - he looks at implantation failure too.
