Hello please can anyone help me understand my recent hormone blood test results?
My serum testosterone level was 0.2 & my serum prolactin level was 445. These seem quite low & high respectively from what I've googled?? I'm sure the testosterone level is more fitting of a very elderly lady?! I wonder if these explain my delayed returning AF, hair loss & stress/tiredness after my MC this year? My TSH was 0.45, a bit low. My LH was 3.7 and FSH 6.6 however, which seem pretty ok for my age (42) - linked to egg reserves?
Any ideas gratefully received! X

    Hello StrawberrySundae

So sorry to hear you've gone through such a tough time. I'm absolutely no expert but have come across the following link to understand hormone results: http://www.fertilityplus.com/faq/hormonelevels.html

The best advice is to ask to go through all your results with a fertility specialist to see if there's additional medication that you need to take or not take for before your next IVF cycle. Good luck!

Thank you very much for the link GirlSolo!  ^hugme^ My clinic have since told me I don't need to worry about the numbers & it's all ok, so I obviously got unnecessarily worried  ::) Thanks yes I guess after 6 mcs I'm bound to feel anxious about it all at times, have to try to relax! I hope things are well with you xx
