Dreamer -  Exhaustion is a little better now thanks. Will monitor it though and if it gets worse I'll have my iron levels checked by doc. I've been in iron supplements in the past so it might be I just need something like that. Glad your 20 wk scan went well.... Have you got a big bump as you're having twins?

Lollipops - Sorry you're still not feeling great. Suprised the midwife didn't listen to the heartbeat for you but I'm glad that you got some reassurance from your scan. I'm not really feeling movements either at the moment, still just feeling flutter type feelings so my midwife friend listened in for me on Friday evening to put my mind at rest and have my 20 wk scan tomorrow so going to mention to midwife. Sure it is all normal for the both of us but I know what you mean about the worrying  ^hugme^

MissSd - Sorry you are going through such a difficult time  :( Sounds awful but glad you're getting looked after in hospital. How are you feeling now? It's understandable given how difficult your pregnancy has been that you feel detached. Maybe speaking to someone about it will help does your clinic offer counselling? Take care of yourself.

    Hope everyone else is okay!

Still not feeling much movement wise but if placenta is still at front that is probably why. 20 week scan tomorrow so looking forward to that always feel much better after a scan!  :)

    hello all,

hope you are all doing well, im actually gobsmaked with how well im going at the moment ive had no sickness no pains so far. Only 'nasty' thing i have had is my eczema has flared up  i have not had it since school. Although thats what the GP said it was but the cream isnt doing much. I have midwife soon so will get her to check it.

I just wanted to ask you all how you are getting on with your antenatal classes? We have a great NHS class here 4 2 hour sessions but i cant book them! i try the number i was given to book in and 'Barbra' doesnt answer and the voicemail says she is on holiday until 28 feb???!! it says dont leave a message please email on this address... so i have done that 3 times now and still no reply. So I called my doctors they said to call the hospital where the classes are based and the hospital said use your app and book through that?! so i looked at the app and it says to email the address i have already emailed 3 times?!!!! So i rang my midwife - no reply left voicemail and also text heard nothing! its been 4 weeks now trying to book this and i am 24 weeks tomorrow im now worried they are going to say sorr its all booked up!!  Any suggestions?!

    Hope everyone is well.
I got my notice in the mail for my 20 week scan march 27th. I will be 19 weeks. Iam in Canada and surprised it said the radiologist is not allowed to reveal gender. Also no video taping and they cannot tell me anything. I won't even be able to ask if everything looks healthy for the baby. My doctor said at hers they did not even let her see the screen. X

    Hi All,

Its been AGES since I came on here and sorry I havent checked up with any of you how the pregnancyís have been going! ☹️ I really hope everything has been going well for everyone??

I havent been on here because Iíve really struggled with the pregnancy so far. Finally got rid of the sickness through having weekly acupuncture and now just exhausted all the time. Other then go to work, all I do is sleep and eat 🤣

I wanted to check in with the ladies having twins. Have any of you heard much about TTTS? Iíve been told I have very early signs of it! ☹️ Been doing some reading and now Im just really worried. Going back to the hospital every week to check on the progress but just worried about it worsening a lot in the 6 days I am not at the hospital ☹️

Sm89- hope the scan went ok? and master bump is all on track . Yes, the bump does seem quite big, I cant bend right to get my trousers or knickers off easy now, even sitting known. My girls have to help me out or hubby. How's your bump progressing?

Have found that our boy who's placenta is at the back appears to move much more, or that i can feel it. It's very subtle and infrequent with the girl,  who's placenta is at the front. It could be that and 20 weeks is still when the babe's are getting stronger to kick.

Clara belle- that's so tight you cant find out the gender or if all ok during the scan :(

Sally- yay! to minimal symptoms And being 24 weeks.  Regarding the antenatal class contact, As it is not working any other way,  I would go in the hospital myself, but that's because I'm inpatient. How frustrating not knowing!

Annie-Thank goodness the sickness is gone and you have your appetite back, And if your body wants to sleep and eat then go for it! Those babies and you as their twinship need it.

With our girls we didnt have TTS as they were mono/mono so was less likely. I was monitored weekly though. The weekly monitoring you are having  is good and I doubt any massive changes could occur in a week, especially as it may/ may not be tts, just potentially early signs. There are options IF it did progress, but it may not. So hope it doesn't for you.

Listen to your body though and if it says rest.. Rest, and eat of course ;)

Thanks Dreamer. Still cannot believe they cannot tell me anything at 20 week scan. Its almost cruel. Seems here there is a law against telling gender but its even worse if i cannot know everything looks fine. Already i do not like going for scans due to my anxiety. Iam sure doctor will get report but it will be a week later. Also waiting on my blood and NT screening results not yet in.

    Wish this was August  ^babycrawl^

    Hope everyone is well. X

Hi ladies! Itís been ages since Iíve been on here, Iíve been focusing on trying to feel less detached about my pregnancy and keeping my anxiety under control!
Iím on my phone so canít scroll back too far to see how everyone is doing but Iíll try to get on the computer later and do some more personal messages.

Since I last posted Iíve been undergoing test after test to try and find the cause of the anaemia but we still donít know. Iíve been seeing a haematologist who is being very thorough. Luckily the tests are so far showing that itís unlikely to be a form of blood cancer which had been weighing heavily on my mind. The haematologist is trying to hold off on a blood transfusion for as long as possible while heís still testing and heís hoping more tests will give us an answer and avoid having to proceed with a bone marrow biopsy. In the meantime Iím feeling completely exhausted, breathless, dizzy and headachey - iíd have the transfusion now just to feel better!! Iím just hoping my body somehow resolves it all on its own and it doesnít turn out to be anything serious. The good news is that all the specialists assure me that baby is doing fine and not at any current risk. Iím 18 weeks today and got my 20 week scan and consultant appointment next week so fingers crossed that confirms baby is doing well. Last week I started to be able to feel the baby move sometimes so that has settled me down a bit and finally made it all feel a bit more real.

I hope all you ladies are doing well, like I said, Iíll have a proper read back later and do some personals.
