Clara- just noticed that we posted simultaneously.. You will have plenty of other times to go to the shows in future. You could book something more laid back and calmer to make up for it, then you are still getting out and have a distraction to enjoy your pregnancy. The GD would make a lot of mums to be feel fed up too  ^hugme^ You are nearing the home straight and it is temporary.

Im sure your maternal instinct will kick in once your baby is here and is your mum going to be with you early on? And, or, any brothers/sisters/ friends that are local? .  Im sure either will guide you with your baby and be there to advise IF  you and your DP need a little assistance.

Thank you Dreamer, i had a cry about missing the show yesterday but iam fine today. Iam going walks alot more now since the diabetes, but only went to doctors appointments and grocery shops to buy food so not too much socially. I even stopped going to resturants as not sure what was safe to eat. I did book a cut and conditioner at hair salon but will try to plan something nice with mum.
Mum will be able to help me a little with the baby but not too much as she is 78 and goes to a specialist herself for cancer. My sisters are both in UK so not in Canada. I want dh to take a few weeks off when the baby comes.Iam still looking for a class to teach some basic things like bathing etc. X

hle - thanks for the info about the anti natal classes. Looks like mine are quite far away but I'll look at the others that you have to pay for and see if I'm interested in any.

Dreamer - Exciting that you've now got your pram sorted. Glad you got a bargain, all this baby stuff costs a fortune! We still have all sorts to get and I really want to be all done by the end of June but not sure if that is realistic ha ha! I'm also looking at local baby groups but feel like I've just got so much on at the moment not sure if I could squeeze those in too!

lollipops - Thank you. I'm glad your counsellor is helping you work through your anxieties. Exciting that you've got your pram too. Pram shopping was one of my favorite bits! Keep us updated with your 4d scan. Will be lovely to see your babies face!

suzie - Congratulations. I think you'll be one of the early ones on this group  :) Have you had reflexology before? How did you find it?

Annilee - Sorry to hear you had a little scare but glad they're going to keep the babies safe in there for a few more weeks! All becoming very real now! Hope you are okay.

Clarabelle - Sorry you had to miss the show, that must've been disappointing but I imagine you wouldn't have fully enjoyed if you were worried about going.

Hope I haven't missed anyone. Sorry it's hard to keep up after a few days of not looking. Glucose test went fine so nothing to worry about there but after measuring me they were concerned as I was well under the normal range for growth. The lady I seen on Tuesday done my 28 week checks for me instead of seeing the midwife yesterday and I was scheduled in for a growth scan yesterday instead. It looks like he's just in a funny position as the sonographer checked everything and then compiled into a report which shows he's bang in the middle of the normal range for growth. Relieved as I panicked a little at how much under I was in terms of my bump measurements. Also what I thought were Braxton Hicks look to be sciatica. It's eased the past day but I've had a few horrendous nights over the past week. Midwife has suggested seeing a physio or chiropractor if it doesn't ease so just going to keep an eye on it.

Hope everyone else is okay  ^hugme^

Lollipops - thank you, babies are still holding in there for now 😊

Clarabelle - sorry to hear you didnít get to go to the show, but I guess all the small sacrifices are worth it, like your eating plan as well. Have the hospital given you some advice on that then?

Dreamer - hehe I havent dared watch any one born every minute in case it terrified me too much! 🙈 thank you for the well wishes and hope your twinnies are OK.

Sm89 - yay good news on your glucose test then! And glad to hear growth of baby is all fine after the initial worry. I have one tiny baby still but they are all prepared to give her extra care when she comes out so I am remaining positive.

AFM - Iím still in hospital, not sure if Iíll be getting out until the babies arrive to be honest. They said if by Monday Iíve had no contractions and no infection to the baby whoís sac has ruptured, then they will consider if I can go home for a few days or not. Iím not getting my hopes up tho for being discharged!

Anilee- Great news those babes are still staying put. How are you feeling? Going home would be lovely, but you sound well taken care of where you are  :-*

Our twinnies are ok thanks, just  feeling it now, their weight and all that.

Sm89- Good job your boy is all ok growth wise, maybe if he moves position the sciatica would ease. You tried swimming or going in to an all fours position? Both of those can said the  the baby more room to move .

Will update after my gestational diabetes appointment tuesday.

Annilee, just thinking of you and hoping they keep your lovely babies in longer. You must be approaching 30 weeks. Must be hard staying in the hospital but glad they are keeping you so closely monitored. Ive never had to stay over in a hospital before. X

    Clara- how did it go?

Annilee- hope you are ok?   ^reiki^

Finding it tough Now, can't concentrate at work, so exhausted and the tightenings are so frequent. This feels like the third trimester officially kicking in. Also thinking of going for an elective natural c section now instead of natural birth. The thought of an induction is daunting.

    How is everyone else doing?

Sm89- how is the sciatica pain?

    Hi All,

So things turned a bit eventful in the end for me. On Sunday night the little twins heart rate kept dipping so they started to get really worried about her. I ended up being moved to 1-2-1 observation about 2am where it was identified I started having contractions even though Iíd not felt much and the machine hadnt detected any contractions either.

The contractions were stressing the little baby out a lot so they rushed me in for emergency c-section and the girls were born at 6:54 on Monday morning 💕

We are all OK, the girls are in special care obviously as I was only 30 weeks, but they are such little troppers already! So proud of them both! 😍

It was a terrifying experience and also completely surreal as I had no idea what to expect during a c-section, so if anyone wants a heads up let me know 👍🏼 As I now know I didnt need to be that scared, I was in the best possible hands! The whole surgery team were amazing!!!!

P.S. Can I attach a picture on here does anyone know?
