Sm89 glad you have your next to me crib up. I need to get my hospital bag and baby bed sorted. Glad the movements have picked up.

Ruby you sound so prepared. Hope you like the cottage and should be relaxing to bring home baby to. How do you think your dogs will react to a new baby? Thanks i know i hoped to get the babybjorn bassinet but halo bassinest seems popular too only dh does not think vibration is good for the baby.

Dreamer you sound like it wont be long if you had a few contractions already. I never even had any braxon hicks yet , only what feels like stretching pains at one side at a time.

Obgyn ckeckup went fine. Normal dr away but told iam measuring on track, heartbeat 150 and blood pressure still fine. Nervous for the specialist appointment next week for the internal scan to check placenta. We just don't feel comfortable with that specialist who had me crying. Will be 33 weeks and 1 day at that appointment.

Sister and her partner arrived from England. Lovely meeting her girlfriend who is south african like my very favourite doctor. Baby will have an extra auntie. They brought my order of mothercare clothes and a whole bunch extra clothes from tescos, including muslin clothes. Everyone has their guess on the gender of baby. Even ive changed from thinking boy to girl. I read ivf makes slightly more boys but with icsi its more girls.

Good luck everyone with upcoming labour. Iam still nervous that induction is longer and more painful. Dr said they dont normally arrange c section unless reason like placenta location.
Also congrats to everyone enjoying time with new babies. X

Hi Clara, that's good you have come this far and your uterus is all settled and calm. Think mine is just a bit baggy from before thats what makes it irritable perhaps  ::)

Hope that specialist isn't on duty and you get someone else. Also, regarding induction some women have lovely experiences, including my friend with her twins, she did have the epidural with her twins and not her singleton birth prior and said that made the difference between it being special and not. You may not even need it x

Lovely you have your sister for some moral support and receiving goody bags is always a huge bonus  :)

How interesting on the ratios of boy girls with I CSI/IVF that would fit our scenario as we have mainly girls and needed Icsi. Wonder if you are having a pink one? How very exciting now

Sally sending you lots of luck for an easy and painless labour. I too am becoming more nervous about labour. Iam to be induced at 39 weeks, unless i need a c section. They are checking placenta next week to see if it moved up. I read being induced can be a longer more painful labour and also at my age its more likely i may need a c section. I always felt its very far away but with each coming week, seems closer and closer though iam only 32+4. I am willing to take any pain relief offered. I don't care about a natural birth, just whatever is safest for the baby, and least painful. Never gone through labour before. X

Hi Sally, how exciting , your babyís birthday is very nearly here. Perhaps go by your instinct Tommorow and see what vibe you get after tonightís sleep on what way you feel you want to go with an epidural. Maybe try and get some meditation in today to help you feel calm.

More babies in the group now!  :)

And good luck Sallysmiles!! Very soon youíll meet your little one!!

How is everyone else getting on? Any more babies showing signs of wanting to arrive this weekend?

AFM - Iíve had a really really rough time in this hospital this week  :( The little twin had some problems and it was taurmatic to say the least. But we seem to be getting back on track now, fingers crossed! I was really looking forward to finally being able to bring the girls home in a couple of weeks, but for now I am much happier they are in hospital with the experts!

Sally - Thinking of you. Look forward to hearing your update!

Annilee - Sorry your little one isn't doing too good. They are definitely in the right place with the experts although it must be so hard for you.

Clarabelle - Hope you're doing okay and not too nervous. Think it's completely normal, we've all been focused on getting to this stage that labour has been at the back of our minds.

Ruby - Sounds like you're all organised! I love buying stuff too. Even though I know I'll end up with too much can't help myself.

Hope you are all doing okay in the heat. I've been hiding away from it as much as possible. Really in pain with my back at the moment, seemed to get worse Friday but I put it down to the fact that I'd over exerted myself as I'd been busy washing, ironing and sorting all of the baby stuff. Just taking paracetamol at the moment but feel like it's not getting any better. Oh well, not long to go  :) 3 weeks left in work for me but think I'll be ready soon so it can't come quick enough. Sorted hospital bag, finished painting of nursery and got all of the essentials so good to go really. Midwife app Wed and Health Visitor wants to visit me on Thursday.

Sm89- wonder what is causing the pain, would it be too late for physi0 ( if its that sort of pain) I take it you have called your midwife  for advice, and its not early labor . All women experience the pain differently.
