Hello everyone

Things are very busy over here too, it's wonderful being a mummy to two under 3s and something I never dared dream would come true but its shattering!

We've had the first and second vaccinations now, he was a little unsettled and temperature was up after the Men B but not like his sister was when she'd had hers.

Ruby good luck with you upcoming cycle xx

Not sure if you've found the button but if you get the annoying blue layout on a phone you can scroll to the end and click on the full site button and it goes back to pink.  I can't navigate around without doing that.

Is anyone else dressing up for Halloween? We have the obligatory chunky pumpkin suit complete with stalk hat!

We've been back to see the specialist at the hospital and he's seeing us afain to book in some more tests at 6 months, one of which will involve a general anesthetic Dreamer I'll be after some advice xxx

Wow Inaaya are you going for a transfer already?

I have one frozen embryo but traveling from Canada to Cyprus would be hard with a baby so will have to decide before next year what to do.

Sophie is now lifting her head on tummy time and sucking her thumb and fingers quite a bit. Gotten very vocal and already outgrowing her 3 month sleepers. Really smiles a lot now.

    X

Christmas has certainly come around quickly!  It's scary how quickly the little ones grow too but amazing to watch new skills.

Good luck Inaaya for your transfer  ^reiki^

    Hope everyone is well xx

Dory10 hope your little one is well too. Certainly Christmas will be even nicer with a child even if they donít know itís Christmas.
Inaaya looks like your babies came 2 yrs apart and all August. I think itís great you are going for another baby. Iam still unsure but glad I have an embryo left. Itís hard in a way to not think to give the embryo a chance, however difficult to go again. You must have your hands full. Best of luck x

    Happy new year everyone!
Canít believe Iíve not been on here and how fast time flies! How is everyone doing? Hope you all enjoyed Christmas!
Baby B is 5 months now and such a little character, weíre blessed with such a happy boy who hardly cries at. A big change from the first 8 weeks! Poor child had jaundice,  colic, silent reflux, an infection (I got an infection in my caesarean wound too) poor weight gain (dropping off the chart) and never stopped crying in such distress. It was a tough time in and out of hospital for various tests and treatments. I was completely exhausted with my low blood count too. Breastfeeding was agony and he was diagnosed with tongue tie at 8 weeks. From getting that snipped he finally learnt to feed at 10 weeks which pretty much cured the colic and silent reflux and heís since been piling on the weight! At 4 months he got the all clear from the hospital too!
I continued to have my bloods monitored and thankfully they have returned to normal now. The specialists are now confident that it was all a reaction to pregnancy. Apparently itís very rare and theyíve never seen a case before but itís not unheard of. It would definitely come back if I was to get pregnant again but at least we know itís nothing sinister now!
Iím loving being a mum and still canít believe heís really mine! I would love to try for a sibling but dp has changed his mind and now says he doesnít want another. He says itís because of my bloods and his age (47) but I think itís more the lack of sleep and him being completely unprepared for how much his life was going to change as a parent! Iím quite upset about it but I know Iím so lucky to have had baby B on our first cycle and to try again would probably require many more tries so I should probably just count my blessings. I just would love for baby B to have a sibling growing up.
Anyway, I hope all your little ones are thriving and filling your lives with happiness xx

Ruby81 lovely to hear your update. Iíve not been checking this thread very often anymore. My little one is now 5 months old and a delight to everyone. She hardly ever cries and sleeps through the nights. She is a healthy weight and we decided to get her vaccinations. Right now she has blue eyes like mine.

Of course the beginning was hard with the c section and then lack of sleep. Lack of sleep was hard, and breastfeeding was too. Now she is almost all feedings on formula. Not yet introduced solids.

I have one frozen embryo left however not sure we will manage to go. We will be renting a house soon and financially things will be difficult. Will have to wait and see and perhaps even freeze for an extra year. I would have loved 2 children but age is getting on and if financially impossible at least I have my lovely daughter.

    Best wishes to everyone xx
