So many of us have international connections!  That's a fascinating story, Luna, and that's great now - one of each!

Neniel - hope you've had a good hug now :-)

Tarapt - hope you're feeling better and your appointment went well.

Hope the rest of you are chugging along well.

My EDD is 10 October; Sex unknown so far; Based in Strasbourg but from Bolton and often in the UK and can also get there easily and cheaply these days (would love a meet up so thank you low cost airlines!).

AFM today - I told two friends that we were expecting a baby and they announced that they are going to be grandparents around the time I'm due!  I suppose that's the thing with having babies in your 40s and some of your friends are in their 50s :-)  I'm feeling a bit out of synch.  But I've had a kid in my 20s, one in my 30s and now one in my 40s.  One for each decade.  It does provide lots of babysitters in the house though!

Luna, what a lovely story.  not one but two miracles!!!  Good luck with maternity clothing.  it all seems to be on line.  I got some nice bits from new look in the sale.  the big one in Stockport actually has maternity wear in store.
Good idea about updating the front page with edd, boy/girl, location.  I'll put mine further down.

Expatmum, I'm sure your nausea will ease once you get into the 2nd trimester.  How many weeks are you now?

Neniel, glad the accident was low impact.  bet you can't wait until tomorrow when hubby is back.

AFM, midwife appointment went well.  got to hear the heartbeat again.  156bpm for those of you who believe the old wives tale about a boy under 140bpm and a girl above.  My cousin said it sounds like a train so it is definitely a boy...  the 20 week scan will tell.  I've decided to have the rest of the week off and put my feet up.

EDD: 4th September; Team: TBC; Location: South Manchester

thanks ladies for your warm welcome.  I am so pleased that I have managed to get there in the end, but it does make me angry that I have wasted so many years of my life (not to mention emotions and cash.....) trying to get pregnant when so many others seem to fall pregnant at the drop of a hat.  Positive thoughts though........ ^pray^

Claudia - my clinic could not even offer an explanation for it not working.  They ran out of tests eventually.  It made me realise that there is relatively little science behind implantation and the consultants guess as much as we do..... I made suggestions from about cycle 3 and saw an immune specialist in London.  The last cycle I consulted a US immune specialist who suggested I had 'hidden endometriosis'.  I had a laparoscopy which confirmed it, he put me on a few additional drugs (plus my normal immune treatment) and it worked.  Of course I will never know whether it would have worked anyway........ You have had a tough time too.  What a relief to finally get there!

Tarapt I hope that you manage to shake your illness and recover quickly.  Great that you heard the heartbeat again tomorrow. Exciting times!

Neniel, your neighbours sound lovely and you have babsitting offers already!!

Expatmum, I hope the sickness passes soon.  Well done on persevering with eating.  That must be so hard when you are feeling a little green

LunaWop phew, I'm pleased to hear that the sickness is getting better.  I'm sure it is such a relief moving into the second trimester

My EDD is 13 october, Team TBC but I think its a boy...., Location London

Yay hubby is coming back tonight!!! I'm so excited :)

EDD at the moment is 26th of October, may change with the 12 week scan, though. We don't want to find out the sex. We live in the Midlands.

Luna - No, no plans. He will be exhausted, as he can't sleep on the plane and had to be at the airport at 5am this morning (India Time). He'll probably have an early night.

Claudia - Birthdays in half term are definitely a bonus :)
