Iím done. Decided on a single transfer. If this fails we will do two next time.
One expanded blast in. One expanded blasts and one other blast in the freezer. Two others being assessed for freezing tomorrow. Both expanded blasts grade 1 and the other blast 1-2.

Congrats on being pupo Mooface :) You did it! Fingers crossed for you.

Baby, I'm sorry to hear your news as well. It is so hard when it doesn't work with such good blasts. Heartbreaking. Hopefully better news is around the bend for us, hang in there.

Alex, your sweet post brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much. Kat, thanks for weighing in - you always have such good advice. :) To answer your questions Alex, I have the one recommended scan at day 10ish of the cycle. My lining has always been good - two times ago it was 10 at that point, this past time it was 7.5 (Reprofit had me on less Estradiol.) Both times it was triliminar. I'm not really sure about the length of my natural AF anymore, since I feel like I have been on BCP much of the past 2 years with donor cycles or trying to time them.

What is oestrogen priming/v cream if you don't mind? I thought the only way to know about endo for sure was through a laproscopy, but maybe I am wrong?

I wrote to Gennet today and said I'm interested in the embryos. Tomorrow is 10dp5dt and I'm thinking of stopping my meds to get the ball rolling. I'm going to the doctor and asking for a beta requisition just in case. I still feel like this is a huge mystery - is my uterus cackling away on the inside, knowing I'm such a sucker and there is like some craziness going on in there? Who knows. I'm leaning toward doing another cycle, and if it doesn't work, starting another school year off and taking the Lupron, and when all that is done, doing the free cycle at Gennet. I haven't told DH the results yet... I'm sure he must know I would have said something, had it been good news. :(

Kayte    yes, I feel very fortunate. She lives on the east coast of the US and I live on the west coast. With all my time, energy, and money being devoted to this I haven't been able to visit her. So the last time we saw each other was last time she came with me to the CR! My first trip to Brno I was going to go by-myself and I called and told her what I was doing 2 months before the trip and she called me back and said she felt like she needed to go with. So Oct of 2016 she went with and that was the last time I saw her. The the next trip I went with DH and DD and the trip after that was by-myself. I'm hoping it will help keep my mind from being negative. When I went by myself last time I had nothing to distract me from my own thoughts and it took a lot of effort to stay positive. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Have you considered getting a blood test early to make sure 100% that there was absolutely no implantation? My clinic in the US always had me do my beta at day 9, 2 weeks seems a little long to wait for me. If you have a CP it might be down to 0 by the time you take a test. I would want to know if it was a CP it gives more information. What bloodwork have you had done specifically? My doctors here won't test for immunes with fertility either. I did get my gyn to run the RPL pannel even though she said I didn't really qualify since I hadn't had 3 mc in 12 months. I told her it takes me doing IVF just to get pg I'm not ever going to have 3 in 12 months. So she did it and ins did cover it. That just tests clotting disorders, MTHFR, TPO, etc. All those were normal. Then I asked my PCP to check ANA's, rheumatoid factor, and ESR because of unusual back pain that won't go away. All those were also normal. When I went last time to Zlin they did the immunology tests that are done in the CR (Lymfocyty, CD3+, CD4+, CD3- (16+56) NK cell, CD8+, CD4/CD8, antibodies cardiolipin, IgG cardioliolipin, IgM cardiolipin, anti zona antibodies, anti sperm antibodies, anti ovarian antibodies). I will say that when I asked for them to be done when I was at Zlin they said it's very rare for that to be a problem. And my tests did all come back normal. As far as a hysteroscopy and or laparoscopy I couldn't find anyone to do the hysteroscopy and I did find someone who would the laparoscopy but the women that I asked about it made it sound like a very long and painful recovery that I'm not sure I want to go down that road unless it's absolutely necessary. I did, as you know decide to do the ERA to make sure that wan't an issue. And it also came back normal. So long story short, if I was you: 1) I would get a blood test ASAP 2) I would see if there are any tests that you haven't done at home that you can get done. 3) Do an ERA biopsy (I have talked with several women, and seen posts by even more, who have had successful OE fresh cycle and gone on to only have bfn or CP etc with FET's done the ERA and found out they have a displaced window.) With receptivity it needs to be the same exact type of cycle, so either natural cycle, or Crinone, or PIO, meaning whatever made you receptive is what you do for your transfer. And yet you were successful with an OE cycle, but that's a different type of progesterone preparation than a completely medicated FET. So to me that seems like it might be at least one thing worth ruling out. 4) If you actually really want a laparoscopy and can't get it done where you live then go to the CR, personally I wouldn't do 2 to 3 months of Lupron without knowing if I had endo. I think the women that have done that have a diagnosis of endo from either a lap or from doing the Receptiva biopsy. And I think the gold standard for endo is excision then doing the Lupron. 5) Do the immune blood testing when you go back to the CR.

baby1985   I'm so sorry it was neg for you :'(. What's you IVF history and your diagnosis? When do you think you'll be there in Oct? I'll be in Brno Oct 9th till the 14th.

Mooface so glad you made it there and are on your way home ^pray^

Hi all - please can I join you? Iíve just read some of the previous posts and wanted to wish everyone the best of luck in your cycles and I was sorry to hear about those who have had such a rough time of it. I was previously on the Gennet forum up to my mc in June and took a bit of time to look at options.

Kayte, not sure if you remember me from the Gennet group but I wanted to say Iím so sorry for everything youíve had to go through this cycle - I read your posts about your long and difficult trip to Brno and so wished youíd had a better outcome. You really deserve some success and I hope the embryos at Gennet turn out to be everything youíve longed for. Sending you big hugs xx

I had a mc in June following a DD FET at Gennet but have been offered an embryo match at Reprofit and weíre deciding when to have a FET. It appears I may have ovulated prior to my FET with Gennet, as a corpus luteum was found at my 7 week scan along with an empty gest sac. However the baseline scan on CD 8 mentioned no dominant follicle so Gennet havenít offered any reassurance about why a CL was found.

Iíve had issues with potential early ovulation / ovulating through meds before (ivf in Nov 2016 was converted to IUI as it appeared Iíd ovulated some of the larger follicles in the 3 days between scans) I can track follicles and trigger if I have any dominant and time FET in line with that or suppress my ovulation with Lupron. Iím tempted to track first and see if that works but would appreciate any advice if anyone has experienced similar issues!  Xx

    Hi Ladies,

We've finally arrived in Brno! We've been traveling since last Thursday, Orlando to London to Croatia to Brno. It's been interesting trying to keep my medications cold while traveling in a European heatwave, lol, but it's been fun!

Haven't received the warmest welcome in Brno but we'll see how it goes. We're staying in the Efi Hotel, our first scan is tomorrow and I'm pretty sure the reception desk gave us incorrect tram directions to get to Reprofit in the morning, so I have a feeling we'll be calling a taxi. It seems a bit complicated on Google maps.
I only booked 2 nights here so we can feel out the place. It doesn't feel very convenient and we had to "upgrade" $$ to get a room with a/c. We had a nice dinner downstairs, so that was the highlight of the evening.
Anyway, I'm still looking for hotel recommendations, restaurant recommendation and just general things to know and do in Brno.
Also if anyone is in town it'd be great to get a coffee or something as we'll be here for the next 2 weeks.

    Hope everyone is doing well

sunnyCM    Hi! Sorry about mc in June. It is very rare to ovulate when on the meds for FET, but it does happen. My clinic in the states does the small dose daily Lupron tummy jabs for that reason. When I asked them about natural FET vs medicated success they said there isn't really any difference just most women like to do the medicated because it helps with planning travel.

Mo1079   Congratulations on making it to Brno safely. Sounds like you've had a lot of fun traveling. Surprised at your experience in Brno so far. We've loved it and thought everyone was wonderful each time. Walk towards the Auto parts store, left, on BratislavskŠ and then turn left on KŲrnerova, and right on Cejl, turn right onto Rooseveltova, total walking says 12 min and come to tram stop Malinovskťho nŠměstŪ in front of perfume store and take tram number 1 for 7 stops getting off at Vżstaviötě - vstup G2 walk across the tracks, across the sidewalk and across the street. I think it's smart to take a taxi the first time though so you know what to look for and taxi's are reasonable there. I've stayed at the Hotel Europa and it was nice enough, but like your hotel it wasn't anywhere near the center. I love the Grandezza! So amazing. Stayed there my first time in Brno and will be staying there again in October. The Spilberk Castle and park are nice. The cathedral of St Peter and Paul was nice too. And the farmers market in the square in front of the Grandezza. I'm looking at taking the train and bus and going to the Castle Lednice when I go in October. It's about an hour with public transport. Also the Punkva Caves, take the train to Blansko and then bus to the caves. I haven't done it myself yet, but on my list. If you aren't planing Prague, you could take a train or student agency bus there and back and make a day trip of that.

HopefulKayte - e priming is when you take more of that hormone to prime your lining before trigger or introducing progesterone and V cream is Viagra, it comes in little tampon like things you use 2 a day and it helps with blood flow, I used it on my BFP and I know a few girls that swear by it, maybe you could try a different BCP, when I tried it it suppressed my system so much I had I follicles and lining of about 5mm so my fisrt mini ivf was cancelled. and im sure the scan would show it, I was put forward for a "special scan" again at a cost of about £500 but the scans I have check everything, they showed my lining fibroids and scars so they should pick up and lining issues you have that's what they are designed to do, if they miss anything you could sue!

as for all the other tests, its difficult, like they other girls said, you can get lost of tests done and as we are the ones left to investigate it all its annoying because then your in the trap of do you need it or does the just in case factor over-rule! I did the just in case and lots thousands. but they also maybe something there so its your decision

I always test early too and never say anything either, told everyone of our first BFP, even some dog walkers then when we lost it had to tell everyone again so I don't even tell DH now! but I think they know more than we think sometimes,

you sound like you have a plan gennet sounds good, I don't know anything about the Lupron - where do you get this by the way I have been trying to find a pharmacy that sells it and I cant find anyone!

I think as the days pass and you get stronger you will feel better about your choice, and it sounds like you have a good plan too, xx

Found out today that one of our other embryos made it so we have 3 frozen. Of course Iím now thinking we should have had two out back so we have two for next time rather than an odd one out! I was a bit crampy last night but otherwise ok so far. Back to work for 3 days of SH then off to South Africa at the weekend.

Hopeforlife, thanks for those directions and recommendations!! You really know your way around Brno!!

I have a dilemma. I had my first ultrasound at Reprofit this morning. I have to tell you, I did not like my experience. It was supposed to be with Dr. Kamil Frank, but a lady with a name that sounded like Kilesnova did it.

She was not pleasant, she sent me into a small room to prepare for the US and meet her on the other side. I asked what the preparation was since it might be different in different places(in the little room was something that looked like a gown, some ripped paper towels, slippers and pads). She looked at me like I was stupid and told me to just take off my "knickers." I wore a dress on purpose because I've heard they don't provide gowns. As I prepared, she and the other nurse were in the exam room laughing.

She basically told me I have 8 follicles but 4 are small. I asked if I need to increase medication or anything. Again that look of "are you stupid?" and tells me this is what it is, taking more meds won't change anything. Because of your age we're not expecting 20 eggs.

She just seemed very bothered by any questions I had, which surprisingly weren't many....but for my first time doing IVF and my first time at their clinic, I felt like she could've explained things in detail.

I promise that I'm not some pushy spoiled American tourist who expects things to be how they are back home. I've lived as an expat in China and Europe for 5 years, I can deal with a lot and believe me I have a lot of patience but today this lady really got to me!! I know it was bad because even my boyfriend who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt was like "wow, what is her deal?"

I asked if I'd be seeing Dr Frank, she said of course he's your doctor, I'm only doing ultrasound.

Sorry for the rant but I'm wondering, should I mention something to my coordinator or ask her why I didn't see Dr Frank today since I was told my ultrasound would be with him?

Or am I being too pushy by asking? I really don't want to deal with that lady again.

Also, do they give you free meds? They were asking if I had Cetrotide? I felt like they were going to offer to give me a free shot while I was there but since I said I had some at the hotel they said to take it at the hotel.
