Period 6 days after ovulation?
« on: 8/11/18, 23:51 »
My lo is 9 months old (DEIVF) and we'd love to give her a sibling (only trying naturally now even though it's highly unlikely but want to leave resources for those who've not been as lucky as us) I've started using clearblue fertility monitor. As in the past, I notice I ovulate around day 21-25 and get my period about a week later. Does this mean I have a short luteal phase? If so, what can I do? Take progesterone?

    Hi Nicky

A normal luteal phase is 10-16 days. Six days is considered short.

You could just take progesterone. Visit an endocrinologist. They will be able to prescribe some

Good luck:). I am 40 and also try naturally. I am aware of the low chances but hey ho. At least is more fun than IVF.
