Hi bailey just jumping in here to hopefully offer some reassurance.

I bled all the way through till I was 12 weeks.

Its completely normal to get breakthrough bleeding until the placenta takes over .

Bailey how much bleeding is there? Has it been like a period or only when you wipe and some spotting on a pad?


I had some bleeding at very early on and was coming from a pocket in the womb not near the embryo or sac, it showed up on my early scan doc said it’s sometimes a build of cells in the womb from the medication in our system.

There is blood on my pad and when I wipe not as heavy as a period but not far off it.

Mine was similar Bailey and lasted a day or so. Can you get to an epu, it would be worth checking that the sac is is still intact. I know they can’t stop it if it’s happening but it might just be implantation bleeding and it would stop you worrying x

We are thinking of going for a scan tomorrow. Please God it is nothing serious. Xxx

Bailey hoping you can get to a scan tomorrow, bleeding doesn’t always mean the worse. I know that sickening feeling though when you see blood so sending you lots of love. Rest rest rest and drink lots of water.

Bailey yes get a scan as soon as you can and in the meantime lie down and on your left (my epu midwife told me this and I don’t know why but my bleeding stopped) I know it’s so hard not to be worried sick but it does not always mean the worst.
