AMH Result - Question
« on: 16/02/20, 04:49 »
Morning,

Quick question for you knowledgeable people.

I'm 43 and have polycystic ovaries.

I recently had my AMH level checked and it came back at 1.08ng/mL - I was happy and surprised about this as I expected it to be much lower given my age.

Having thought about it some more is it possible that the result is good because of my polycystic ovaries and 1.08 isn't really a true reflection of reserve?

Is the PCOS bumping up the numbers or would the result be much higher because of PCOS regardless of age?  (Greater than 7.0ng/mL usually indicates PCOS)

Any reply would be wonderful.

Thank you x
