Morning all - I feel so tired in afternoons. I have been having huge sleeps in the night too (waking for about an hour- 2 hourseach night which is annoying!). Generally feel quite sick too. but motion sickness wrist bands have really helped. plus lots of small meals.
boobs really sore some days, less others.

I still can't really believe I am pregnant.. but I am. Its all just such a strange time to be pregnant, and its so early - 9 weeks tomorrow - that i dont want to tell anyone else. Friends keep saying things like 'covid is really scary but your fit and healthy'... I just have to agree but want to scream IM PREGNANT IN THE APOCALYPSE! I don't of course!

off to see my parents in middle of now where is wales on thurs so we have had to quarantine for 2 weeks before that anyway so neither of us can shop etc at the mo. But Ill send my lovely husband out when we need to.

Speaking of husbands - anyone not really want to be touched at the moment? i think it is because I feel quite sick a lot but I dont really want him near me at the moment!

Hi Jana, good luck with your pregnancy. Iíd wait until after lockdown is over before visiting your parents in Wales as the Government rules say not to visit people outside your household. Itís not worth the risk. Sorry if Iíve misunderstood anything. If they live up the road and youíre dropping supplies on their doorstep thatís obviously ok!

Hi all, so I have decided to move onto this thread as I had my viability scan today. I am 7 weeks and 4 days. It has a strong heartbeat and is a good size. I got to video the scan for my husband to watch which was really nice. I work in a hospital for the NHS so I am still working, thankfully not patient facing but it's still quite scary knowing I have something I need to protect.

    Hi all,

    How is everyone doing?

After sending the report to mr Dr in Alicante he asked for another scan at week 9 because the sonographer made a note of a small subchorionic hematoma and he wants to make sure that we monitor that. I have been reading about it and apparently is quite common for IVF conception.

Jana6748, how are you feeling? Have your symptoms worsen or got better?

I am struggling with morning sickness, in fact, more afternoon and evening sickness. Yesterday I felt so dizzy that I thought I was going to faint and I have been wearing the wrist bands, but it does not seem to be helping.

I've never thought that would be that hard :(

Is anyone else struggling with morning sickness?

     ^hugme^

    Hi Mac

I am struggling with morning sickness but i'm not actually sick. I have lost my appetite and have lost over 5kg since starting this IVF cycle (Which I am not complaining about) I'm just trying to eat small and often and anything that takes my fancy xx

    Hi everyone!

Nice to see there are a few of us on here now! Hope everyone is doing ok and first trimester morning sickness is starting to improve? Has anyone got scans this week/next week?

I am now 13+4 apparently! Crazy as I know I canít be from my fet dates but twin 1 is measuring ahead so thatís what they are going wirh! So due date now at 19/10 but guessing will actually be earlier as think twins deliver sooner! Had my official 12 week scan and screening this week and all looks ok, had to have the screening in fetal medicine as there are two of them and the lady spent ages looking at the babies and their anatomy and seemed pretty happy with everything so thatís a relief! And she is pretty sure they are both boys looking at their bits! Bit of a shock, I already have a 2.5 year old boy and was hoping for at least one girl but clearly not on the cards for us. Trying to get used to the idea of never having a daughter though which is making me a bit sad...crazy isnít it when you think what we go through to get to this point! Xxx

    Hi all,

MRSB168, good news on your scan and you must be so relived. Wow, 2 boys?? Is this 100% confirmed?

Lori84, good that you are not actually sick, but it's important that you eat well. I am the opposite I have a huge appetite but then after eating I fell nauseous, bloated, and  sometimes dizzy. I am eating small portions, like you said, throughout the day and it seems to be helping. However, there are days that nothing helps. :'(

I am also going for long walks but I do miss being able to run, as this really helped me to deal with all the symptoms I went through when having HRT treatment for POF. Then, I remind myself how hard it was for me to get where I am and I how grateful I am, this gives me strength to keep strong.

    Jana6748 & Tiredmum3, how are you both?

    ^hugme^ to everyone

Just brought a pram ekkk, though I was at the same stage when I brought Alfieís and can always resell if something happens. Hubby thinks we should be safe at this point but I donít take anything for granted.

Sweetingwood - have you had your 12 weeks scan appointment confirmed yet?  Hope the bleeding has settled down for you. X

Totes forgot to read this thread!

Yes 12 week scan went fine, baby is a mover 😀 had a telephone app with the consultant who's seems OK but my wife has had a bad experience with him before (basically said she needed a hysterectomy due to fibroids rather than referring her to a specialist) he is at our local hospital, we have the option of having a planned c section at St georges in London so hoping everything will calm down enough to do that.

He said would only worry if the bleeding had not stopped by the end of the 13th week. And guess what it bloody stopped on the day! Haha

Had a minor scare at the 16 week midwife app as doppler could not pick up the heartbeat - minor panic and trip to the epu show baby was fine just upside down and the placenta is at the front  so unlikely a doppler will never pick up the heart beat!

20 week scan is booked for 27th of May.

I hope everyone is doing OK and staying safe xx

Hi all - needed a break from all things online for a while..

Had the 12 weeks scan (was actually 13,5 weeks by the time it got booked). V strange at hospital with everyone masked up, and husband not allowed in with me. whole thing took over 3 hours..
all looks good with scan. a very wriggly baby - totally bonkers to see!

just waiting on screening results from bloods and I am feeling really anxious.. can't shake it. trying to focus on good thoughts and the assumption that everything is fine... but its the waiting that is awful. is anyone else waiting for screening results?

also have still not really told anyone as waiting for these results - so still have a huge secret that has obviously really effected my lockdown experience!  Hope your all doing ok!!
