Doing a cyle with endo cyst in situ?

Hi

I have a 6cm endo cyst on my left ovary. It appeared literally after i my very first ivf cycle with stimming as endometriosis loves oestrogen. Never caused me any issues but obviously it is eating my ovary away. It's  been there with both my FETs which have been successfu but now i am.looking to cycle again...should i have it removed,can eggs still be collected with a endo cyst present, should i consider down reg for the ivf as it's supposed.to be better for endo?

Any experiences ?

It depends how big the endo cyst is. If it's over a certain size (I can't remember, but may be over 7cm) they won't do IVF as it will interfere with egg collection. Removal is a bit of a risk - they can remove healthy ovarian tissue at the same time - so I think they prefer to leave it alone if it's not too big.

If it's smaller then they can go ahead with IVF. I had 3cm cysts on both ovaries and did IVF.
