Hi
We have just been offered a cycle of IVF using donor eggs on the NHS, due to the exceptional circumstances committee agreeing we wouldn't be successful with IVF with my own eggs due to AMH of 0.2 and only one antral follie.
We obviously have to find a donor first, is it legal to advertise for one? we have a few friends that offered but one being
a heavy drinker and the other a smoker, I am reluctant to accept. Plus - both would expect to be "involved" and thats not what we
want.

Yes, you can advertise for an egg donor (advertising for a surrogate is illegal, but not for an egg donor).  I would also suggest that you contact the Donor Conception Network who may be able to offer further advice and support, and guidance as to finding a donor - they are a charity with lots of experience in this area.

Very best of luck.
