Hi everyone!

Just a quick message to announce the arrival of Jamie Ross.  He arrived after a hastily planned c-section after a growth scan at 40+4 showed him to be on the big side.  After previous problems delivering my daughter we agreed to go ahead with a section after all and were booked in for the next day.  Jamie arrived on 3/8/05 at 12.16 to the Aussie Dr.s words of "look what I found".  Jamie then yelled with all his might and the Aussie Dr said I'll put the little bugger back where I got him" in true Rolf Harris accent! It was really funny and took my nerves away.  I was scared of the section but actually it has been a far more positive birth experience for me this time and actually felt less of an intervention than the ventouse delivery, bowel scan and stitches to the third degree tear I had last time. Of course both my babies were gorgeous and woth every twinge, pain and stitch.

I am finding though that big babies are hungry babies though and am going to need extra reinforced nursing bras!
