Hi everyone

Am hoping someone can help me out.  I am wanting to find a group or organisation that gives support/information during pregnancy.  I have just had my booking appt with my midwife and found the whole experience quite fruitless.  :( It was more of a form-filling experience and she didn't answer any of my questions so I gave up.  Then she wrote in my notes that she had given me information!  As I have a complication I have to attend the hospital so don't get a choice of midwife.  I need to find somewhere where I can ask all the silly questions.  I have no family here as I am a kiwi.

Hiya

I found joining the NCT group quite helpful in my last pregnancy.

I was just going to say that  ;D

Try www.nct.org.uk

We have our 2nd class with them tomorrow, you do have to pay but you get 16 hours of antenatal class & so far it seems pretty informative.

If you are just after a few answers to some questions, try giving them a call or ask on here & someone might know.
