Hi, I'm 16 weeks pregnant and had my 3rd appointment with my midwife today. She's now said that she won't need to see me untill i'm 34 weeks as i'll have all my checks etc when I go for my 20 weeks scan and have my GGT and anti- D injection at 28 weeks. Do you think they'll do my blood pressure, measurements and let me hear baby's heartbeat etc at these appointments though? Don't want to contact m/w again thou cos i've phoned her twice on her mobile and, the first time she said she couldn't speak as she was with a patient and I should phone the maternity unit and the next, she had finished work for the day.
Any advice appreciated.

Hi

yes, they will do a full ante-natal while you are there. Just remind them that you are seeing them rather than your midwife. Don't worry about phoning your midwife, if she isn't able to take your call it is normal policy to phone the unit
