AF still hasn't arrived. Now 5 days late. Hubby made me do a test on Wed night but it was BFN. I knew it was gonna be.

I've got 7 weeks till I have to be back at the fertility clinic. In the meantime I've to have an xray on my tubes between cd10 & 20. I bloody well told the doc last time I was there that I wouldn't get a period because Im no longer on Clomid. I only have a cycle when I'm on Clomid. She didn't have a clue what I was talking about coz she didn't speak much english.

So my question is
Can GP's prescribe Provera to start a period?

I've had it before but its been prescribed by my consultant at the hospital.

Can anyone please help.

Your GP could prescribe it if they are feeling nice but as the test has been requested by your consultant, they may say you have to get a prescription from them.
Sorry I can´t be of more help.

I think Ruth is right. GPs tend not to prescribe this kind of medication themselves unless it has been initiated by a consultant and they are given instructions by the consultant. What sort of x ray are you having? Is it a hysterosalpingogram where they squirt dye in the tubes?
