need to give blood or tests too?

Do i pay twice? its a bit of a dumb Q even tho ive read lots but his bit doesnt seem to be going in.

Hi 11th Hour,

Yes, if your sperm donor has not been tested for things like genetic issues through karyotyping or screened properly then you need to have both the sperm tested and a blood test.

Is your donor a clinic donor who has been screened?  Has he had pregnancies before?  Has he been karyotyped?

You need to ask these questions as this can be a huge factor in ivf failure if not addressed.

The other implantation failure tests, e.g. clotting, immune issues etc. are done on you alone.
