Hi peter

I was very interested to see your success rates at the Toronto clinic are so high with blastocyst transfers.

Are these for fresh or frozen cycles or both?

Can you pinpoint a reason as to why the clinic is so successful? What kind of things should one look for when considering a clinic's suitability for blastocyst transfers?

Many Thanks

Both although the very good pregnancy rates are currrently with fresh.

Experienced staff, meticulous approach, not trying to do too many cases (overworked staff), good patient management and overall excellent quality control. The lab in question is the Markham Fertility Centre in Toronto run by Dr Mike Virro.

All of the above plus experience in the technique. Ask how many blastocyst transfers they have done and what their success rate is.

Hope this helps!

Peter

Many Thanks
