I was due to start treatment for ICSI again having had the injection in the bum and a blood test to check my hormones were low enough to start. However I had the blood test last monday and my hormone level was 596 pg/ml. I understand that sometimes the drug does not block the hormone?? is this correct?? I am due to have another blood test tomorrow however this morning I have some bleeding similar to a period, is this normal

Bleeding is a good sign as it can help bring down that hormone level. I would expect that the level will be lower tomorrow so the test last week just showed that you weren´t ready to start stims then but hopefully will be now.
