i'm 13 weeks pregnant following icsi ivf. on Sunday I had a small red bleed and went to the hospital . They admitted me. The scan yesterday was fine and they couldn't see any reason for the bleed. They discharged me yesterday but today I have had a much bigger bleed for about the last hour which is slowing up a bit now. Should I go back. There are no clots. Grateful for any advice. Meg

Hi Meg,

I would go back to wherever you have your scans. If you can't go direct call your doctors surgery and ask to speak urgently to your GP who can then refer you.

It may be nothing in which case getting seen will put your mind at rest.

Have decided to ring the ivf clinic in the morning and they'll probably scan me. I saw my ivf consultant yesterday and she was very reassurring. thanks for the advice. meg

Second scan was fine. Everything seems normal again went back to work today but trying to take it easy. Meg
