Hello there  :)

I'm not sure if this is the right area to be posting this question but was wondering about my internal stitches from my c-section.

I had my 6wk gp check yesterday but typically last night had a few twinges in the groin area and when I felt it I felt a small round lump there to one side, at the end of the scar but inside if that makes sense.

Is that likely to be just the end of the stitchwork, if so presumably it'll dissolve soon?  Or is it something I should get checked?  I didn't have any physical checks done at the gp appt so she didn't see/feel anything.

Thanks, Katie  :)

Hi,

This is quite a common thing to get, and will probably go in a few months.  You may always get occasional twinges at that side of your scar also, so don't worry if that happens,

Ah thank you for your reply emilycaitlin, and for your reassurance as always.

Hope all well with you.
