Hiya,
Can't tell you anything about frozen embies but we moved frozen sperm from one clinic to another and I'd imagine it's a similar process. It cost £85 to move them (approx 40 miles!). Our new clinic arranged it though gave us 3 options beforehand:
1. Move it ourselves - we would need to hire equipment and have health and safety training - didn't fancy that at all though it's the cheapest option.
2. Book a general courier (e.g. Parcelforce) - quite cheap but the clinic said that they would treat it like any other parcel so couldn't guarantee it's safety - didn't fancy that option either!
3. Book a specialist courier - the guy the clinic used specialised in international organ transportation! It was the most expensive option but at least i felt the sample would be safe. The clinic arranged it, and we just had to pay the invoice. I was a nervous wreck on transport day and keep listening to the traffic news for announcements of crashes on the motorway but the sample got there safely thankfully!
Hope that helps and best of luck.
