I have just had the result of an AMH test back at 4.5.  Was told by the consultant that anything between 2.2 and 6.8 is normal.  However, I don't know what this really means.  Does this relate to ovarian reserve and egg quality?  Is this good for my age (I'm just 39). From reading other messages on the boards I understand there are two scales and I believe I am being measured on the lower scale. Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Hi Emerald,

I dont know about the levels, but I have had this test done today too and have been told it tests ovarian reserve and gives them an indication of the fertile years you have left/how you may respond to such things as IVF etc.
