Hi ladies,  ^hello^

I have been viewing this website for quite sometime, we have a male fertility problem.
We would love to meet Dr. Pankaj Srivastav but can anyone give me a rough idea of what the cost would be of doing ICSI with IVF. We consulted a fertility specialist urologist in NMC hospital and he suggested we do ICSI with IVF do to severe sperm count.
Please ladies I need to plan and save a budget for this treatment before I consult Dr.Pankaj pleasssssseee  :-* can anyone give me a rough estimate of the costs including medications.
I am also aware that we can't do egg donation here in UAE due to the laws or else this would help in easing the financial costs for ICSI+IVF.
I would really appreciate if anyone of you could give some feedback.

Hi Tictactoe

Here are Dr P prices from the last price list I got in December

IVF - 12,500 + 750 (sedation)
ICSI - 16,500 + 750
Tesa/Pesa 2,250 + 750

Initial Consultation 400
Follow up 250

The price of medication really depends on what you need so cant really help with this.

Wishing you lots of luck

Thanks a lot Sharry,
So just to sum up the overall cost it is approximately 34000. We dont have insurance  ^eyes^ so we know it's going to be financial implication. :(
Thanks a lot once again.

Hi Tictactoe

Sorry I have confused you  ::)

If you need IVF it is 12,500, but if you DH's sperm count is poor you will need ICSI instead so it is 16,500 and if they need to extract the sperm from DH   it is an extra 2500 (plus the sedation costs)

So the worst would be ICSI + TESA so 20500 plus meds

Hope that is clearer

I think insurance here is limited to locals so most of us are in the same boat. Good luck.

Thank you Sharry and Dubai71.
We are actually planning to do ICSI in Mumbai but we live very close by to Dr. Pankaj's clinic in Sharjah, so we were just calculating the whole cost, rather than going to Mumbai and staying we might as well do it here yes the insurance companies wont cover a single cost for fertility treatments.
We will rethink on the descision about going to Mumbai cause even if we go to Mumbai we might have to keep the same budget for over all expenses (staying, travelling, medicines, etc. etc). If you would like to share your thoughts or any feedback on this, you are most welcome.
Thanks once again. and BABYDUST TO ALLLLLL  ^afro^ ^dancing spot^
