Wondered if you might be able to help me.  I am about to start my second cycle of ICSI and before I had the gonal f prefill pens.  This time with a different hospital I have 7 vials of 450 gonal f.  Does this mean they are not in prefill pens and if not what do you have to do?  It was so easy for us last time injecting I am worried that the needle will be different.

Can you or anyone help me.

I have used both the pen and the vials, the needle is the same and feels the same going in, but you have to put a liquid in the viral and mix together( you only have to do this bit once for every viral) then put the syringe which you will inject with into the viral and draw the correct does up into the syringe and then inject. Its is very easy once you have done it once you will be ok. I found the pen more complicated, at least with the virals you can see exactly what the does is.
