hiya
is it okay to take painkillers whilst downregging - and during your ivf/icsi cycle generally? I had terrible cramps with my af yesterday but didn't take anything for it as I wasn't sure. Luckily I haven't had any headaches (yet!) but it occurred to me that I didn't know whether it was okay to pop a couple of pills if i do get one? I usually take nurofen or paracetamol - any ideas?

Hi Ruby,

I had the same query too & checked with my clinic.  They say it's ok to take paracetamol (unfortunately I had such a bad time with AF last week I had to take paracetamol and nurofen together).  I'm d/r & starting stimming tonight.
During my 1st IVF, after e/t, I suffered really bad pain and it was ok to take paracetamol then too, in fact the clinic gave me a bit of a talking too for having put up with the pain & not taking anything!
