Hi,
taking the decapeptyl injection today for down regging in preperation for my de transfer on may 15th.
I know its a long long long shot, but on the (very unlikely) offchance i may be preganant ( naturally) i would be today only 7 days post ovulation so too early to test. Will this injection affect a potential pregnancy?
Thanks

They are contraindicated in pregnancy, but this is a common procedure to down regulate and there are people who have got pregnant during down reg and had babies.

This is why some clinics put you on the contraceptive pill, tell you to abstain or know it won't be possible to get pregnant if you have severe male factor or blocked tubes as a cause.
