I'm on my third diui (drug free) cycle, just wanted to ask a question.  i did a ovulation test on tuesday it was neg went in for scan on wed and did another test it was pos, but i was still given a trigger injection at 12.30 on wed and basted on thursday at 11.30am. why did i need a trigger injection if i was surging naturally and could this have caused me to ovulate earlier, say wed night. im just worried that i could have been basted to late.

No you wouldn't have ovulated any earlier, the hcg injection would have just boosted your bodies production of progesterone so a good thing!!!!
